      @BlackRifleCoffeeCompany  3 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      There’s actually a really impressive group of advisors over there making sure that show is pretty authentic. We’ve had a lot of overlap with their crew over the years in different projects and they’re doing pretty well with balancing the realism they’re going for with a storyline and current events inclusion that makes the show appealing to audiences without SOF experience of their own.

      @@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany I know a lot of people on online forums compare their enjoyment from this show to The Unit from the 2000’s. I don’t know what kind of tech advisors they had and admittedly it’s been a minute since I’ve watched the Unit but I’m sure there’s clips from that show that would be enjoyable to watch. I’m sure Kyle Lamb would be a good fit for that from his time with Delta force.

      I was gonna say, out of everything I see coming out of Hollywood, the level of accuracy on a network television show like SEAL Team surprises me. They clearly have good, experienced consultants and bothered to find good, experienced consultants. Still be fun to watch you guys dunk on it tho, lol.

    • @1Vmiboy
      @1Vmiboy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I bet that would be fun, but I enjoy Seal Team too much to have the Pros point out all the times the show goes Hollywood on the material. By far, Seal Team is the best show about the military since The Unit (can anyone say crossover episode?! 😄) and maybe just maybe if they could sneak Jack and some of the BRCC crew info an episode here and there, the fan base would go nuts 😃

      I saw Rambo II first, when I was seven or eight and got a "Survival Knife" for Christmas that year. It was ACTUALLY call "The Eagle Scout" knife, which still had the compass, but inside the handle, not OUTSIDE like those cheap pieces of shit you got at the flee market. What made it even cooler was that one of my father's (my father gave my brother and I both the same knife) best friends and brother Eagle Scouts, college roommate, etc., gave my father a Bowie knife before he shipped off and eventually was killed in Vietnam, which was the war heros that Rambo celebrated. Because of him, I've ALWAYS stopped to speak to, thank, and shake the hand of ANYONE I came across wearing Vietnam Veteran attire...still do! Now I just added on saying, "Welcome Home!"
      So, thank you, ALL Vietnam Veterans, and Welcome Home! God bless you!
      In honor of 1LT. Gary Preston Tomlinson. KIA 7/3/70, Phu Bai, Hue, RVN. I think of you everyday...even though I never knew you! I'm glad your old Cobra Battery allowed me into the Facebook group, in your honor!

    The thing I love about tomahawks and axes in general is how versatile they can be in the hands of someone who knows how to use it. Not only are they a hard hitting brutal weapon but they also can be used to hook and drag your enemies so you can control the fight, they can be used to climb, and are great survival tools.

    "That thing" is a "gun club." It's shaped like a rifle (apparently originally because the indigenous people recognized the 'power' of rifles), but used in hand-to-hand. Quite a hand-to-hand weapon. And, No - I'm not a nerd!!! :)

    And Rocky Balboa and Italian ? LOL. NOPE. Balboa is not an Italian last name. It is from northern Spain, Galicia region. The place where the discoverer of the largest ocean is from. He named it "El Pacifico" , because when first time he saw it from a mountain, it looked very calmed. His name was, Vasco Nunez De Balboa.

    Ok now guys it really makes me pissed off,they call it a Kentucky long rifle right.well Daniel boone went plum to Pennsylvania to have his gun made.so the gun was made I Pennsylvania and not Kentucky,and I think it was a 45 or 36 calber rifle.i have one that I bought back in the early 1970's in a kit its a 45 calber,my dad helped me fix it up with my 45 cal round balls a just 70 grains of power still to this day.i live here still in Tazewell County Virginia on my farm,and I'd say I've probably killed over 40 nice deer with that old muzzleloader.plus I own 2 more muzzleloaders a 45 and 50 calber Thompson center hawkens muzzleloaders.plus I do use them sometimes to,and just the other day I found a Thompson center 54 calber hawken muzzleloader at my local Pawn shop and bought it for just 200 dollars.but it will take me some time to completely take it apart and clean and fix it to where it will be in ment condition for me to use.i also melt down my own 45 and 50 calber round balls to use in my black power rifles,and even some time make me my own black power to use in my rifles when power is hard to find.so ha now guys please don't forget about our heritage of older guns that help make and start our country now.hunting is your God given right to be able to Feed yourself your family and your friends and neighbors to now.so do not give that right up,plus it's also your right to help protect you and your friends and family to.so always remember that guns used right help save lifes and help feed lifes to now 💯%🇺🇸💪👏👍👌😁‼️

    Although they call them Kentucky long rifles, many were made in Eastern Pennsylvania. I believe most of the gun smiths came from Germany. They made a beefed up versions (for the large game of America) of the old German jaeger rifles. In The Last of the Mahicans... that's called a gunstock war club. This was a fun video.

    The ultimate kill Rambo made was in Rambo 5 (or V); the boob-trap which canceled the cartel members head and the subsequent shot Rambo made from a shotgun (i think) into the bad-guy's chest was an all-time cinematic kill. Saw the movie in a packed theater... People were laughing an cheering during that scene. Bonus: Rambo had The Doors blaring through the caves.

    So is Sly left-handed, right-handed, or ambidextrous? I know the left side of his face is paralyzed, but his left eye works, doesn't it? So that wouldn't affect his aiming. He aims his bow and looses arrows left-handed, aiming with his left eye, but he's almost always seen shooting guns right-handed, almost always from the hip. Maybe he's cross-dominant and/or mix-handed.
    *Note:* In the commentary to the second one (or maybe the third, I forget), Sly mentions that it's lame and stupid to fire an M60E3 one-handed from the hip. Arnie does the exact same thing in 'Commando' (also with an M60E3).
    1:55 Actors are taught not to actually aim at other actors while firing blanks. Typically, camera tricks are employed to cover it up. It doesn't always work.
    1:57 Of course, we all know that the myth of AKs being inaccurate is exactly that - a myth. A 7.62 M43 round fired from a 16-point-something-inch barrel can make that distance just fine. AK Operators Union proved that.
    2:02 Why do movie people, typically when they're playing villains (regardless of rank), always act surprised when the mag runs out, then ditch the gun instead of reloading? Even Spalko from 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' does that and she's the top dog of the "Big Bad" forces! That's not the actor's fault. That's the director's fault for assuming the audience is dumb. It's insulting!
    6:09 Why do foley artists always feel the need to add phony gun cocking and/or rattling noises like that? Do the directors make them do it? It's a trope by this point.
    7:08 Ridley Scott's 'Robin Hood' is awesome! I don't understand why normies thought it was lame! It portrays the church and the state as a combined apparatus of oppression that deserves to be buried in a nameless grave, so anyone who loves Liberty should cherish that movie! ARISE and RESIST!
    13:25 Notice the flipped image. He isn't shooting left-handed. The scene is mirrored for no reason. Well, there's a reason, but it's a dumb one. Directors think it improves continuity, but it actually ruins it. Sam Raimi mentions that in the commentary to Evil Dead 2. It's that one scene where Ash goes down into the cellar to get the pages of the Necronomicon. I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to think Bruce was wearing that chainsaw on his left hand. Obviously, the whole scene is mirrored. You can tell because it looks like a left-handed chainsaw. You can tell by the details on Bruce's face. And you can also tell by the way Ash's shirt appears to button right over left. In the commentary, Sam says directors (including himself) do that because they think it improves continuity. If you ask me, it screws it up. He goes on to say, "We always assume you won't notice, but you always do."
    *Note:* Notice how the pan and the hammer on that Brown Bess appear to be offset to the left. No one makes them like that. They're all made in right-handed configuration and everyone in olden times was trained to shoot right-handed because left-handedness is verboten. Eye dominance doesn't even enter into the equation even though the eyes matter more than the hands when it comes to shooting. Also, Ben Franklin was left-handed.
    17:10 How about some demented "melt movies" like Street Trash, Body Melt, and The Stuff? Or zany gonzo absurdist movies like Freaked, Bad Channels, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space? Or straight-up classics like Krull, The Ice Pirates, and Clash of the Titans (1981)?

    Umm, Black Rifle Coffee Company unfortunately it seems the writers, the director, and who all else knows of the 2018 Robin Hood movie decided to have Robin and his men portayed as Antifa like. It's noticeable at the part of the movie where they are storming through the town getting to the castle. I stopped watching at that point. Woke = Death.

The movie gets hate, but I like it.. Because you know if there was an alien landing on the West Coast, the Marines would be sent in first.
