Yeah, Lethal Weapon is my favorite Christmas movie, watched it this Christmas with my GF.
I once got non rec'd in MoS school because I "smelled like whiskey" (my civilian class teacher said this)
I was literally taken to get my blood drawn @ 0900 because the breathalyzer didnt register anything. It came back and said I had like a .03 BAC. I requested to speak with the Master Guns who was running the MoS school.. and when he was reading my file in front of me, he was like.. "wtf is this stupid shit?"
I was promoted the next month to LCpl. My class commander hated me for some reason. So I understood your can't drink after midnight reference.

Two feet per second by the way regardless of misting. Vapors are about the same or a little faster. Jet-A burns and can deflagrate under pressure as in a container or fuel tank. It does not explode or detonate. It's just a movie. A great, wonderful, loud Christmas movie.
You asked about how fast jet fuel flames up in a trail, I learned that when working at an airport fueling planes. It's actually pretty slow. Lol. Gasoline is almost twice as fast at igniting. When we practice with fire extinguishing we actually put gas in the jet fuel, because jet fuel doesn't ignite easily.
Correct, throw a lit match into a bucket of jet fuel and it just goes out. It's not gasoline (aviation gas is highly refined gasoline and extremely flammable) but jet fuel is a highly refined kerosene based fuel and not very flammable... but again this is Hollywood... you shouldn't expect realism... Besides, who would pay to see it if it were. The exception of course is BRCC vids where they use real guns, ammo and explosives (definitely not Hollywood types). Merry Christmas everyone! 😄

That dude that got sucked into the engine was on a carrier and the plane was either an EA-6B or an A-6. He only lived because the stuff he had in his pockets was sucked into the engine before he got to the compressor blades. Pretty bruised up and cut but that's it.
When our Blockbuster was out of something, they’d let us go through the return bin if we brought it inside and the clerk didn’t have to go out in the snow.

The difference between Fire Watch and Fire Patrol was Fire Watch is that one hour shift in the middle of the night where you walked around and watched for literal fires in the barracks. Fire Patrol was when you were on guard to prevent someone from raiding an Armory like AIM did in 73. They grabbed weapons from a National Guard Armory and held off the feds for a couple of months at Wounded Knee. Two blue electrical taped mags were were blanks, practice run, two red tape mags were hot.

This year my 31 year old ass and another two grown adults went and got pictures with a mall Santa. We emediatly starting shooting the shit with him and he turned out to be an old southflorida gangter affiliate with some insane stories.
