Beautiful piece Anthony. The spirit of the ancestors is strong in you. Mannanan Mac Lier has promised to return when the people of Ireland call his name. You are bringing us back from the world of bling to "a place where all truths worth is measured. A measure where all truth is realized. A reality where all lies are vanquished a place where all bright colors are seen and all art is reborn" Dagda has backend and you must dare follow. Blessed are they that walk in the steps of the ancestors.

Thank you for all you do! I wouldn't know about many of these magical places in Ireland without you.

I read an article about Dowth, Newgrange and some other sites on the Megalithic Portal website this morning. Come into TH-cam this evening and find this waiting for me. Beautiful place and a lovely bit of synchronicity. :)

Fascinating! How old are they? What are they thought to signify? The oldest I have video are standing stones on Arran island (Scotland) and they are about 4000 years old. I love the feeling of standing next to one of those things and imagining. It's ok. I found it in Wikipedia!

Stephen, I suggested a link with the Pleiades in my 2006 book 'Island of the Setting Sun'.

As you now know, I suggested that the rayed sun symbols on Dowth's 'Stone of the Seven Suns' are inspired by, and depict, total solar eclipses in the mid-1990s.

I will make it to the Boyne valley one day. God willing. It will be the return of the Tuathe De Dannan. Well I'm not that cool but in spirit. McGue must have some irish ancestry story.
