Yamaha Virago 700-1100 lubrication - known and lesser known issues

Key points:
- filter orientation
- banjo bolt axial bore
- clutch cover MUST be used with matching oil filter cap
- oil seal is worth replacing if you're already taking the cover off
- check external oil pipes w. brake cleaning spray
- ...and make sure your filter is not old, weathered but fresh, recently produced
