My method of removing the carbs off a big bore Virago. This is the fastest and easiest way I have found so far. Tried most tricks, seen a lot of videos and read all sorts of advice back in the day but this is the way that requires the least amount of tools, time and "wrestling".

Give your pump a chance. Carb cleaner, new set of contacts should do the trick unless it has a dead short in the coil.

Relay fix and replacement with a cheap, basic relay. Diagram and explanation in the video. If you use a generic relay, go for a 12V 30A 4 pin unit.

Some people remove the last baffle, others cut the whole back plate out. If you want to reduce noise or make it sound a bit meaner, here are a few tips. As always: if you want noise, empty the mufflers and make a glasspack out of them.

I hope this comment will find you. Pity comments in later videos are off, but I do not blame you. I have the Virago XV1100. How you have saved my ass many times. I must thankyou 1,000 times over.
