When I lay my back and front patterns on the fabric to cut them out. Do the front and back crotches have to be facing each other or do they have to be face opposite of each other????
Hi Glenda. Can you help me with a question? On one of your videos you measured yourself and my measurements is the same as yours. The butt is flat so is mine very flat. The crouch length 26 so is mine? but there’s one problem I am having. from the top of the back on your diagram of the crotch. you show the top crouch back that line that goes down before it makes the curve that straight part keeps digging me in my butt and I can’t figure out why it keeps digging me in the butt .is it because MY BUTT IS SUPER FLAT??

Glenda or pro viewer, could you please clear my confusion. On a tissue fitting the ease is already added in. If I use my measurements plus seam allowance I am going to have a tight fitting pair of slack is that correct? I must add the ease into the tissue if I am doing an exact measurement on the blueprint of tissue?
@ G Williams - Yes, if all you have in the pattern is your actual measurement plus seam allowances only, then you get a skin tight fit with no ease. This is called a 'moulage'. To get movement room in the pattern, you need to add wearing ease. Our Sure-Fit Design patterns already have built-in wearing ease incorporated into the master pattern.

I have a pattern that is a basic slim-leg pant, but I don’t have a wide leg pant. How much does it cost to get the wide leg pattern, or do I have to buy a whole new pattern. I have the yellow boxes.

Utpal Das - with Sure-Fit Designs we don't use crotch depth. I was merely explaining the different terminology. However, many experts suggest to sit on a flat chair and measure from your waist over the hip to the chair seat.
