- This is a mini bike which I went from a 97cc stock engine to a 212cc engine from Harbor Freight. Did some custom engine mount and changed the centrifical cluth. This is not for kids ! This is one BAD ASS Mini Bike now. The power is amazing ! Will make even the hardcore adrenline junkie turn white. Enjoy !

An exact replica of a mini bike I won at a quick stop raffle on November 1st, 1968 at eight years old. A real gem. No suspension, very little braking, top speed about 25 miles per hour. 51 years later, I have owned 37 motorcycles, both on and off road and enjoyed many good times as a rider and racer. This thing is what got me started. I like it.
Anything is a death machine when you combine sandals, shorts and Gravel !!
Don't forget a 12 pack of ice beer.

I’m still cracking up and can’t stop laughing. I bought a new mini bike that didn’t start from kid down the street back in ‘65. I was 10 he was stupid He asked his father if it was ok to sell it to me for 5 bucks. I got it back to my house and put gas in it! It was a blast all during the summer of ‘65. Sold it to a 15 year old kid for 40 bucks. Ahhhh those were the days.

My eldest son has the exact same thing except, we put the aluminum fly wheel, big cam, springs, stage 3 carb and header. It'll run over 60 mph with me driving! Goes through clutches every so often but worth it! I make the boys put on full Motocross gear before riding it...
I can remember when my dad upgraded my boonie bike from a 2.5hp Tecumse to a 6.5 hp Briggs when I was about 7. I would almost shit when i road it the first couple of times. Haha I miss those days

its has no transmission.. so only 1 gear. and I agree thats very slow considering my trail bike was 50cc about the same size, and could hit 70 kph with its 3 gears... no mods ...
then I got a 500cc dirt bike and everything I thought was fast pales in comparison lol

Most kids don't learn to ride a bike without training wheels until after 5.
You can't just move a kid directly from learning to ride a bike to a gas minibike.

My first mini bike was 1970 Huffy Hustler with a Tecumseh 5 HP engine. It popped a wheelie every time you took off and would run 57 MPH.
Of course I didn't ride it wearing sandals, so you win there Super Dave!
Mate, I was a little fella in the 60s. We had what we called a 'go-bike', push bike frame with a lawn mower engine. Dangerous as he'll but man against beast...to cool if you could ride it, you owned it.

this is as fast as he's making it out to be. i have a minibike with the same engine, and a higher performing exhaust, and it's scary fast, so i'll give him that, but death machine is an overstatement, because that thing is ridiculously clean and well maintained. very nice bike. also very impressive riding style: ballsy and ham-fisted.

I used a Max-Torque SS1334 clutch on my Baja Dirt Bug Predator 212 swap. Also installed an exhaust deflector to keep the hot exhaust from messing up the finish on the rear fender and frame. Fun little mini-bike.
Man im going to upgrade to sandals and shorts to make my bike faster less wind resistance and lighter.
I'm guessin this guy has never rode ANYTHING with any power whatsoever...?!

Have you checked the top speed yet? I made the same conversion and hit about 35 to 40 mph on asphalt.
p71collector how?? I have the same bike but engine is 10ccs bigger, I have same centrifugal clutch. Engine is a PowerEase 225cc and get about 31 mph
Removing the governor should yield about 55-60 MPH... with governor in place, overall gearing will restrict top speed... the gearing on this one would also limit the top speed... it's still geared for about a 2 1/2 HP engine... which is why it spins the tires on gravel taking off...

I you like this, there is a big following for these as well as performance upgrades.
My buddy has one of these with the same engine. Thing'll hit 40 mph with a lightweight rider.
And If you put internal upgrades in the engine and you put a straight pipe and mikuni carburetor on it it will go 55-60 I have one that does it

Also kids just another side note along with not wearing a helmet and heading towards a main roadway. When you get ready to do a burnout, make sure you are aligned with the Toyota Prius or Chevy Truck for the maximum rock pings.
