Bike lift tip...take a ratchet strap through the front wheel and around the uprights of the wheel vise to lock the front wheel in the vise (or up against the uprights in this case). It secures the motorcycle front wheel in the vise much better than the vise tension alone.

14:00 interesting metallurgy note. They taught me the opposite in my material science classes. When pushed passed its yield point, the sections that fold or deform receive dislocations in the molecular structure. They are basically "knots" in the metal that make it harder to move back. It does have a memory tho, as in you can bend it within the yield strength and it will bend back on its own. I am surprised you got it that straight!

The pink one is dope. You have to keep it pink. SAS pink panther. The front fairing mudguard design is genius.

When you guys were looking at the needle jet body in the light, It was probably time to take a heavy fiber from the wire wheel and clamp the thing in vise grips and poke the holes clean on the needle body. they get crusted often and it's an easy fix !

Clean the jets with a welding tip cleaner . Also can use a deep fryer and evapo rust solution among others to clean the carbs when they are taken apart . Don't boil for more then 30 min . Rinse with water then spray parts with parts cleaner re assemble the carb and bobs your uncle . If it still flutters a bit repeat boil but id go no more then 20 min .

Just put a CR250 motor in it to compensate for the pink paint, as a bonus you'll have a clutch.

You guys should invest in an ultrasonic cleaner. Pretty cheap on amazon and well worth it when dealing with these old carbs

Had a major dead spot on my Honda 200, (bought new with this condition), took fine sand paper to the main jet needle at the estimated fuel restriction point, fixed.

Love these videos and with the more unedited style at the end really makes it feel like we are there chilling with you guys keep them up unless it was a mistake kinda with the black screen for a few seconds and you didn’t mean to have the video like that but just so you know I enjoyed it better

Argh! If I’d watched this video a few months ago, I would have found the split in the boot between the carb and head on my missus’ bike sooner! Such a satisfying feeling fixing a fault like that!

Craig has so much knowledge about these bikes. Then he is humble and always learning new things about old bikes. I am amazed that Sean owns and runs a business. He still listens to Craig like he is learning new things. The Bible verses are the best.
