@J Eric Vaughn So if we bring it back to old school DCI, then women basically cant march except guard, there's no real sound quality, just a lot of noise, and there's no reason for any of the shows' existence, it's just a bunch of hammered-up teenagers high-stepping around a field and (in the case of the Crossmen) starting riots with bottles and damn near murdering people who mess with their shit. Yeah, I'll take my modern drum corps over not changing with the times and killing off your audience any day.
@J Eric Vaughn actually get rid of DCI they're the ones responsible for the decline in the activity to begin with. Go back to old-school drum and bugle Corp that were real, and a lot more exciting than what's going on with these marching bands. Do weight with electronics Bells dancing and prancing, get rid of the pit entirely if you can't carry it you can play it. Just for the record nothing against marching bands but my preference is at Real Drum and bugle Corp with the Drumline in front, playing many rudiments. Former member of the Long Island sunrises.
