I’ve never made a bad dish based on Albert’s guidance. If you’re new to this channel, you won’t be let down - but you do have to follow exactly what he says.
I agree, everything he does is amazing. But one thing with pasta, never use the time on the package for al dente. Always taste the pasta, as electric stoves, gas stoves, altitude, etc. can alter cooking time. And the difference of 1 minute can ruin the pasta.
@@spgtenor Great advice, indeed. My gas stove cooks up pasta much faster than an electric one....a BIG difference in cooking time! Yes, test it out first. Now then, let's eat!
I made this tonight and was delighted. It's true - cooking the pasta in the sauce allows the starch to bind everything together and prevent the yogurt from separating. A generous amount of black pepper provides a counterpart to the creaminess, and the use of yogurt rather than cream keeps the dish from being heavy. A great recipe - the first I've made from this site, but it definitely won't be the last.
This is one of my favourite one-pot pasta dishes of yours. I make it so often that I occasionally change it up a bit with a small handful of roughly chopped pitted black olives and a couple of pieces of roughly chopped dried tomatoes. The olives and tomatoes really compliment the smokiness of the paprika. Love it!
I made this tonight. My first recipe from “Spain on a fork”. It was surprisingly delicious. I ate 3 bowls. Ordered the paprika from Amazon as I couldn’t find it at 5 different stores here in nyc. I used whole wheat pasta and good tuna in the jar with olive oil that’s imported. So quick and I’d like to think “healthy “. I ate 3 bowls ! Followed everything as is. Thank you !! Simple but flavorful! I recommend you make this !
I tried the recipe tonight and it was sooooo good! It was super quick and easy, the ingredients are affordable and it was really filling as well. I will definitely make this again :) thank you for this great recipe!
Just made this and was positively surprised, rly nice flavours, the tuna taste gets nicely neutralized by the joghurt, herbs and spice, can't even tell I am eating canned tuna. This is perfect for my student purse. I live in Germany, the cost for me is approx. 3,50€ (just ingredients, without electricity cost) and it lasts me for lunch and dinner. Rly not bad considering today's prices.
I have made it this evening and I must say that I have eaten the whole pan. So easy and so delicious. What a brilliant idea to cook the pasta in the sauce-broth mix. 👍👍
This is WONDERFUL! So different from anything I cook! I didn't have everything, so I improvised. I used scallions instead of shallots, chicken broth instead of veggie broth, and heavy cream instead of yogurt. It all worked out, because this is incredible!
Great recipe - thank you. When I cook a similar dish I drain the tuna and use the olive oil to fry my onions - added flavour and saving on new olive oil!
@@bluemoon8268 I would be very wary of any US food. If it says "olive oil" it probably means that the original intention was to use olive oil but that they now use vegetable oil. "olive oil" doesn't mean olive oil anymore. Anything with a value isn't used for packaging. It's probably a mix.

This was another yummy recipe. Few TH-cam cooks provide such excellent instructions as you. The timing to cook the pasta was perfect. I live at a higher altitude ( 1.8 km ) and it did take the extra minute ( 4 minutes total ) with the lid on to cook the pasta just right. This channel is my favorite cooking channels. Thanks for all the wonder recipes!
Just finishing my first bowl as I'm typing. Followed your instructions [almost] to the letter and I was very pleased with the results. By 'almost' I think I might have greedily added in a bit too much pasta, but resolved by adding some extra water to the pasta mixture. Thank you so much for this!
This dish was amazing!. I substituted the vegetable broth for chicken broth, and I also used heavy cream instead of yogurt as I didn’t have any, and it came out great. I loved it.
So delicious!! This is the first time making a dish from Spain on a Fork. It was easy to make. I had 2 bowels, it was so good! I'm recommending it to my friends. I plan to make the salmon one pan dish next! Thank you. Please keep them coming..
I made this for dinner tonight and was very pleased. It reminded me of what we used to do when I was finishing college in the early 1970s. I made this dish for dinner... delicious and easy! I did not put in the Greek yogurt at the end, but it was still great. Since the pasta absorbs liquid as it sits, I stirred in 1/2 cup of water after awhile and anticipate doing so tomorrow with the leftovers. The dish has so much flavor that adding the extra water doesn't seem to dilute the taste. Thanks so much-- I'll be making this again!

I made this tonight and only had a can of fire roasted tomates with green chilies in the pantry but it turned out good with a nice added kick. I will make this again
If you're making this dish start by draining the tuna and use the oil to sauté your onions and garlic. It's more economial, gives you more tuna flavour and doesn't leave you with a small amount of tuna scented oil to save "for later".
This is one of my fave recipes on Albert's site. I often use the olive oil from the tuna cans to do the shallot/garlic frying (warming it to drive off any water content) as it adds more fishiness, and I use a Swiss high-end bouillon powder to make my veg stock.
Funny, I must've missed this the first time, but it looks amazing and got the tip to find out from a comment on today's creamy salmon pasta. I adore the Orzo with Tuna recipe, so I know I'll love all of these. So thoughtful to help us on a budget who want healthy, saboroso pasta meals!!! Gracias🌺❤🙏

Sounds great! Much love :)
“spain on a fork” what an epic name
If you're making this dish start by draining the tuna and use the oil to sauté your onions and garlic. It's more economial, gives you more tuna flavour and doesn't leave you with a small amount of tuna scented oil to save "for later".
I have just discovered your channel, it's fantastic!!! You explain everything so well! Thank you so much ❤❤❤
Much love :)

Glad you liked it!! Much love :)
QUICK, EASY, FLAVORFUL! Love it!! Thank you.
Glad you like it! Much love :)
This is one of my fave recipes on Albert's site. I often use the olive oil from the tuna cans to do the shallot/garlic frying (warming it to drive off any water content) as it adds more fishiness, and I use a Swiss high-end bouillon powder to make my veg stock.
Sounds great! Much love :)

Gracias🌺❤🙏
Appreciate the comment! Much love :)
Albert. I've been cooking with Greek yogurt a lot recently but never thought about adding it to a tuna dish. You're one of my favourite TH-cam channels. I like the way that you explain everything.
BTW. I am from the UK but I live in Fuengirola in the south. I think you live in the north?
I'm also an English teacher and your English is so good. Did you study/live abroad or is your mum/dad from the UK or USA?
I lived in California for 27 years :) Much love!
I found this channel randomly; it is really a channel that produces quality content. Congratulations.
Five stars! Delicious, love the addition of the paprika!
