Dropped the two trees that lost their tops in the windstorm

Ok some of you maybe think boo we did not get to see her drop the trees...well it's been a while since I have had to drop a tree so if something went wrong I prefer not to traumatize the world, friends, or family 😅.
On the bright side the trees are now down and I do not need to worry about them falling on anyone. Plus I get to enjoy a few more toasty hours in front of the fireplace...win win.
Some may think that the trees should be able to stay up at least until a wind storm. But you would be surprised. I was out in the woods one day when it was totally calm and the people I was with, about half of us just stopped and started to looked around. It was weird there was not a single sound we could hear but something was wrong. Just before it hit the ground, I spotted an enormous tree falling towards the ground, and then we all felt and heard the impact.
