I love mine. Was nervous coming from an S21 Ultra to my first foldable, but its been great. Wouldn't mind a slightly wider front display (don't actually mind the narrow screen as much as I thought though) and bigger battery but othwewise its solid.
Brilliant video mate I like the detail you went into and you actually showed the important stuff that alot of other channels either completely miss or they drag it out. I’m due an upgrade in June, I want this phone so bad but the camera lets me down 😢
This phone gets better everyday I use it. The main reason why I bought it was to play 2 games at one and my God does it do that so well. I also discovered other things while owning it and it’s just too much fun
Awesome video! I held out on this one and opted for the 23 ultra. I do use the pen regularly so if the fold 6 will finally have it included internal that's when I make the switch to this
I have the fold 3 now which was just updated to android 14 and is working like a new phone at the moment. But I am deciding now to keep it until there's some price lowering happening for the the fold 4 or 5 then I'll upgrade it. But I love these fold phones just as much as I loved the notes from samsung. And you got my interest in the 5 renewed with this video.
My mobile carrier has it at half price now. Its finest b Denmark

Thanks for the tips on how to use a Samsung phone for productivity! Great features are highlighted! I have a s23u and just love it and think I don't use it's full power yet!
After paying so much for the phone, it's worth paying the extra for the spen/case, I only use it now and again, but it's great to have for those time's
As an S20+ owner, this Z Fold 5 is really the only phone I would even consider purchasing as my next one, as I am rather unimpressed/not compelled to upgrade to any of the S23-S24 slab phones because honestly..they don't do anything that much better than what I already have. At least a foldable has that bigger screen and form factor and is different, but the price needs to come down a bit (when the ZFold 6 is released, I may bag a Zfold5 on Swappa).
There is always that risk of dropping the phone and damaging the hinge if it's not protected. Personally cases that cover the hinge are too bulky for me so it's a risk I'm willing to take. So far there is no damage and I've dropped my phone a few times
I switched from iPhone 12 pro max to z fold 5. Let me tell you there is only two things i like more about apple. Battery and customer service. Customer service especially. Samsungs service is just extremely frustrating.
Customer service I can't comment on however battery life with the fold 5 is unsurprisingly worse then normal phones due to its dual display. However generally samsing flagships have excellent battery life
No device 5 models in as flagship device should have a crease. No stylus storage on board & cover screen aspect is off. Fix these, then Samsung is offering an improvement rather than pretending or living with faults.
You can’t have a foldable phone without a crease. The crease ins the whole reason why it folds in the first place. That helps so there isn’t so much tension and the screen crack in one close. If you want a foldable you will have to deal with the crease. Plus it’s actually a lot less visible with the Fold 5 than a lot of people realize.
Not so....the opposition in foldables has it barely noticeable. Unfortunately, having always enjoyed the Note series and stylus use with Samsung, their flagship foldables lack the best screen innovations lately.
Having it since day 1st and loving it more day by day
Yeah me to
The battery life would be longer depending on how often you use the inside display
Had mine since August no complaints love it 😊

I'm recieving my Fold 5 today, Upgrading from a 21 Ultra too. How has your experience been adapting to the new device?

Do you use it as your main device or secondary?

Do you recommend buying the s pen and case or do you think it’s not necessary?

I love the dark blue with the dark gray frame... beautiful. Not a big fan of this color, though.
Great video!
I have The online exclusive Matt black and baby blue it’s lovely!
Finger print sensor is incredible compared to under screen ones
I have the s23 ultra and i do wish i got the fold. waiting to see the fold 6
Best phone I've ever had! Great review.

i am getting a Fold 5 next week, i am wondering if the hinge needs protection. There are so many cases that does both protect and not protect

You don’t really need a protection for the hinge, this phone is hella tough
Fold5 do not need a case at all.
@@Voltar78 depends on whether you want a pen or not
@@beasthunter4003 right, Samsung spen case is the best option

Samsung is falling behind Chinese brands. Chinese fold now is thinner and lighter.
Design the Chinese brands is far better I agree but none offer stylus support if that's important to you

373 ppi is not a crisp display by today's standards... That's midrange specs.
