    Hands down the best light weight ADV bike, best trail bike and best dual sport bike. I have a 2019 450L. I sold a Husky FE501S to get my Honda, what a great decision that was.

    I have a 22 450RL as well. The vortex ECU and yoshimura full exhaust transform it. I also have done an emissions delete with some other mods. Great bike!

    Picked up a 23 in April of this year. What a bike. I just recently tightened my suspension and it's a whole new bike.

    Thanks John! Could you make a video expanding on the technique of feathering the RL’s clutch off-road? Thanks again.

    Bought this thing today. It's a average bike on all aspects. It's a better road bike then any dirtbike and a better dirtbike then any roadbike. It does everything average and it masters none. That is something special and I love it.

      You just described dual sport motorcycles in one paragraph 😂

    Awesome bro! Im in port saint lucie and bought one 3 days ago as well been enjoying it. All the roads near me are pretty wide opened and people go 60-70 so im with you there on it not being so fun on the road so far. We dont see tourists but theres a ton of old people and terrible drivers so you always gotta be alert. Its a good time once you get off those faster roads but i got the bike mainly to find and ride trails in my town and areas near it. Enjoy the bike man

      Congrats! Hope you're loving it so far, I've had mine for almost a year and am just getting the content out on my channel, but I'm still loving it despite not having done the rallys and race stuff I've planned to do yet. We did build up a pretty sick private riding area at my parents property down the street (which I'll show in future videos), and that's where I've been riding it mostly. Let me know if you find any good trails down there, but I'd also recommend taking it to the track (MotoBros in Okeechobee is pretty close to you) and ripping around the intermediate track. The bike will handle it for sure and it's a blast! It'll even handle the big tracks, just have to watch how much air you get as the rear suspension is pretty soft. I had mine on several MX tracks up at Highland Park in North Georgia and it handles a conservative track very nicely

      @@John5XR Good to know, that track is actually on the same property as the shooting range i go go sometimes so its not a bad drive at all ill keep that in mind.

    That must be one hell of an extended swing arm if that bike is measuring 22 feet long.

    Just picked up a 2024. I would warm any dirtbike up until the radiator is very warm to the touch.

    Hey John let me know if you wanna ride I myself have an RL and live in Orlando we can ride around

  • @MarcosDiegos

    I agree. I stayed in maitland near Orlando.. street riding near Orlando does suck and dangerous . 75 year old tourists driving 80 mph

    • @John5XR
      @John5XR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. There are some nice roads out by Mt Dora and Howey in the Hills though, so I don’t want to blanket CFL as a terrible place to ride.

    I want so bad to like this bike but it's 2 inches too high for me and Honda should have just scaled up the 300L engine instead of trying to down tune a hot moto crosser.

    • @John5XR
      @John5XR  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They make lowering link kits! And I disagree, I think this engine is fantastic and I specifically wanted a street legal motocross bike

      Hey J.
      The audio on this vid sounds great. You can hear your voice clearly and no wind.
      But your bike sounds a bit louder than everyone says it is.

      They make lower kits and lower seats that make it an inch lower.

      @@John5XRare those lowering link bad for the bike long term? Just wondering if that’s not great for it since it’s squeezing it lower
