So are you manually stepping through the sequence to change notes or is it just cycling through very slowly? Disclaimer|: I barely understand this amazing synth so I might totally be off track here.
Yes I usually play my sub holding the trigger mode. I am not that good with it to know how to use it to self generate . I don’t even know how to use the patch bay! I believe I could max its potential if I wasn’t so lazy to learn it😅
Lovely sounds. I got mine only the other day. I note you say that your index finger holding the trigger button is cramping. If you long press the EG button till it blinks, the subharmonicon goes into drone mode. There is then no need to hold the trigger. A really geat jam and you are making wonderful music. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Peter! Yes I just found out from another TH-cam video that I could do that as you suggested! That would make my life so much easier haha! I hope you will enjoy your sub! ☺️
Really pretty work, damn I wish I could've figured out the Bliss when I had it, maybe I can do something similar with my SuperEgo+ (which I have yet to figure out too) :)
I'm really glad to see you bring this beautiful instrument back out! Beautifully dramatic, but it also has a feeling of closeness and intimacy. I'm curious - do you think your exploration of other instruments has made you develop how you play the Subharmonicon? In what ways?
Funny you asked because whilst playing on the sub today , I felt that something has shifted. I feel that maybe when I experimented with how my other gears worked and sounded it helped me to push my creativity with the subharmonicon sonically. I always felt that there is quite limited things I can do with the sub but playing with new gears increased my confidence. I think it is something to do with limitations…Also there’s something about the Moog sound that just can’t compare with all the gears I currently own. So maybe there is more magic when I play it ….i would include the effects too, they are like important ingredients to the sauce…. 🥣🥫
I use the Moog Mother 32 + Dfam but so far I resist from the Sub. It seems so unpredictable. Do you use it only for Ambient or also for other music styles?@@FloChai
j'aime bien cette session presque épique _ bravo
Nice. For me, The Subharmonicon can be sometimes hard to tame and other times a total inspiration machine. I love mine :-)
It’s the same for me every single time I use it. When it works it’s absolutely gorgeous. 🥰 nice to hear you play the sub too!

@@DayflightTrok mostly ambient bcos it helps to calm me, the moog sound is very deep and grounding 😄
What effects are you using?
