So true, we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and it was the best advice I followed as a younger man: happy wife, happy life! No it doesn't mean giving in most oft the time, as some men may misinterpret it. From my experience is more about finding out what makes your life partner, wife or husband really happy, but for us men it also means (in our own interested🙂) to figure out rather sooner than later which of our behaviours definitely DO NOT make her happy. From my experience is more about finding out what makes your life partner, wife or husband really happy, but for us men it also means (in our own interested🙂) to figure out rather sooner than later which of our behaviours definitely DO NOT make her happy.
Because we husbands will be measured by how serious we take the often not so subtle cues over time, and how ready we are to change or at least adapt those behaviours out of love and respect. It happens the other way round much more than we often realise anyway ;-), but unfortunately it took me well into my 40s to figure that one out.
