Very first jump I did, I had all the emotions he described, up until the drop. Once in free fall, I had no fear, I had no emotions. It was peaceful. Skydiving is pricey but it's worth it.
I’m - 53 year old woman in Texas who just did my fist skydiving and I’m a changed person . It’s elating . God bless the ones who push their own envelopes. I did mine and I’ll do it again in July celebrating my 21st anniversary in America.
I remember my first Tandem Skydive. Bought for me as a present and I only found out on the morning of the day I was doing it. I was truly shitting it, but what a feeling in the end. Now a few years on and at around 450 skydives completed, I'm now in your position clinging on to the plane and filming peoples emotions as a full time skydive cameraman! Blue Skies.

Sky diving has been the greatest gift I could have ever asked for. It's true peace, and freedom in a way this world doesn't want you to to achieve. The days I get to jump it's like all the outside pressures, choas, whatever you may be facing in your life just DISSAPEAR and you are completely in that moment and fully alive. There is nothing better than sky diving.
I’ve always found it fascinating that when you relabel an emotion to it’s opposite how utterly transformational the experience becomes. Our ability to believe and change the story in our heads is true power. The trick is to remember that and practice it in the moment. Still learning here! Thanks, Kerwin! (P.S. I have had two tandems and I crave for more. The first one cleared my arteries. The only danger with tandem jump is that it costs a lot and you want to jump again. Childlike excitement. What is even more, when I see other people skydiving, I feel happy for them.
2 years ago I said to my mom that I wanted to go skydiving (i was 11 at the time) but she didnt understand how much i wanted to do it. She asked me if I REALLY want to, then I started thinking and I said no. From that day I was so sad because that was a ones in a lifetime opportunity (I was in New Zealand). I had already been in indoor skydiving twice, (one time in Norway and one time in New Zealand) so that's why I wanted to go. And I live in Norway and to go tandem skydiving you have to be 16 years old so i didnt have a chance. But this summer we went to Estonia and I jumped there (13 years old) because you had to be 8 years ago or older. I loved it
I did my tandem skydiving today. The free fall/initial jump was rapid and anxiety inducing but the emotions (pride/joy/a sense of peace) afterwards were worth it. I freaking faced my fear of height 😊
@@jacobroberts1928 It was awesome! I usually get nervous in new situations but it was only pure excitement the entire time! I want to go again. This Saturday I have an appointment to submit my passport application so I can do it in another country sometime soon.
I never felt fear during skydiving, I'm now veteran of sport but from the very beginning it was just relaxing for me, I don't know what is wrong with me

I hated doing it but it literally is the best thing for my mental health so I’m likely going to do it again.
