A real guy giving honest reviews, good and bad. That's why we watch. If a company makes quality tools they should be ok with an honest review. If a company wants your input, they could send you tools to try, without doing a video, and ask what areas need improvement. They could examine your input, good and bad, and improve their products. After doing some R&D, re-evaluate doing a video review. Everybody wins in that scenario!!!!

I can usually tell when someone is full of crap when they speak. You've helped me make a few purchases lately, or at least rule some stuff out. I'm waiting on some products from Teng Tools to pop up on your channel. They're supposed to be at the top from Taiwan, quality wise. They're a Swedish owned company ,and so far, have great quality control.

Ford Boss Me had a video today that covered the same subject. He has been approached by companies who had the same stipulations. He he turned them down also. Your work, guiding folks to a good tool, is invaluable. Most tool companies, from junk to premium, offer a lifetime warranty. There's little value in a tool that requires a warranty claim. A tool is useless if broken after all

Good on you Jeff. I used to write for the shooting industry. I am not a stranger to sponsorship. I was sponsored by a bullet company at one point too. I’ve concluded that once I do have that offer in this industry, I will also consider what their rep is for relevant warranties and customer service. That said, if Harbor Freight wants to send me tool boxes, by all means. Considering a 2nd job with them until at least after our contract is signed this fall. Partly because I think we may strike. Mostly for the discounts as I redo my shop.
Jeff's garage adventures.. I'm the same way. I do honest reviews and I tell it like it is. If it's bad I say it, if it's good I say it, or somewhere in between. I have full control of my videos and will NOT say a product is good if I don't think it is just for the sake of getting a free product/tools. Iv'e had companies want me to review things like a microwave, makeup bag, kids chair, earbuds, robotic lawn mower etc etc. If it doesn't align with my channel I am not going to review it.
Jeff, I just put this comment on your other video so another copy just to make sure you see it, I decided to test the China made SK 216 position ratchet. I put a deep wall 19mm socket on the ratchet and put it on one lug-nut. Understand I am a fat guy at 330 lbs. and I stand on it, as in I put one foot on the ratchet and climbed up on the car so the only thing holding me up was the ratchet. I then checked the ratchet and did this 2 more times. The ratchet is just fine, no change.
@@jefftovani5535 It sounds more hnperesive than it is. 330lbs X 7 in moment arm of the ratchet =2,310 Lb-in / 12 in = 192.5 Lb-Ft. Which a will made 3/8 dr should take (it does prove it's not weak). Tekton for example 90 tooth 3/8 dr ratchet on the test channels on youtube hit 290ish Lb-ft before breaking. It means most people should not have a breakage problem with the new SK ratchet under normal hand force.
I've been banned from tool boards and the like due to speaking my mind. One of the boards online which is very well known had a bunch of Sears Craftsman haters. So, I told all the haters, "Send me your Craftsman tools you don't want. I'll pay for shipping, and I'll gladly use them". Sure enough, folks sent me tools and I still have them. Of course, the management on the board didn't like that and banned me. I was later told that of the moderators was seen in public and ran from folks that recognized him. That tells you that the board isn't a place that's worth your time.
Stay true my friend. Your content is rock solid. Some channel just want to get free stuff and make money by being sponsorship whores. Can’t see them lasting very long.

I only watch about 5 channels now because of people not giving honest reviews you can tell pretty quickly when someone is giving all grate advice on everything
There are a few channels I was (not anymore) subscribed to that totally sold themselves out. One in particular is a BBQ channel hosted by a mad scientist. He does the paid promotions for cereal company's, pots and pans, home health consultations and a few others that have nothing to do with BBQ. And then when he reviews something BBQ related and there's a negative he'll say it really doesn't matter. Or just ignore it all together. When in the past him and others always preached that it did matter. Of which it really does matter. One thing I can't stand is a sellout. They still get the views though and have their Patrion supporters so I guess to them that's all that matters.
