I thought she gave a really great speech, especially for someone who, let's face it, was in a really tough spot. People know she went to Dartmouth and translates Latin for fun, so she can't pretend not to be smart - but she also has no connection to the law, so she can't really talk about being a lawyer or the value of law school or whatever. And she's a comedy writer, so people expect her to be funny, but on the topic of Harvard Law School. In my opinion, her job was significantly harder than Preet Bhrarara's, and she did pretty well.
I loved how she gave commentary on how we shouldn't listen to advice from celebrities, and we should listen to those who are educated in that area. Also how people like this are the ones who are the ones who will either bring about change that benefits the people, or benefits big business, Pharma etc.
I like Mindy too. She's beautiful, funny, and inspirational. Beside the fact that she is awesomeness-I want to be a lawyer. And Harvard Law school is a great law school; nonetheless, the out standing Law Professors, and the wonderful resources that are available aren't the revelation of my future. My faith and action, my abilities and determinations as well as hard work determines what kind of lawyer I will be as well as every future lawyer.

She deserved more accolades, especially some Emmy love, for The Mindy Project. It was high quality for all 6 seasons. She’s very funny and smart and accessible.
