What a wonderful shot. I could watch forever and the view of Las Vegas is just incredible. Only the air conditioning in Las Vegas must have been very, very cold... I've never heard so many people coughing so often on an airplane... 🤒
WoW! This is really impressive. Thanks for the timeline section indicators. And thanks for *not* having an irritating music soundtrack. Well done! I've never been to "Lost Wages" 😄 but always been intrigued.
Everything is amazing, from the good seat, the engine sounds, the way the sun was reflecting off the engine, the departure, the sunset, wow, great video!!
We drive up to LV twice a year. No trip is complete without a half-hour spent watching arrivals at the planespotting lot adjacent to 26L. You can almost reach out and touch 'em.
This is awesome. I used to fly delta a lot in the 2010s and always found myself on MD80/90, 737, or CRJs for domestic flights. Never dreamed of being lucky enough to snag a ride on a newer widebody. Occasional 767.
The thing when it comes to ears popping, has to do with cabin pressure when it comes to aircraft. Especially the A350-900. From my point of view when it comes to riding airliners wether be delta, American and spirit. Take off can lead to cabin pressure. Post take off, can be relaxing. Mind the turbulence.
Delta runs a350 from Vegas to Minneapolis? That’s crazy they have so many people flying back and forth between those 2 cities they need the a350 to run the route
Favorite plane and airline nice video.👍...there is a chance I was on that plane with you based on the time of day, 330-...300?, and dreamliner. Was your flight by chance on a sunday? I do know there was one on a saturday to so bo big deal if its not the same ( i was just wondering). Beautiful video keep up the great work!🫡
@@twincitiesaviator hmm okay maybe someone else in the comments section will know. I’ve never seen those turn off while in flight except for cloudy or other adverse weather which would affect visibility.
I noticed myself that when flying out of McCarran (now Harry Reid) takeoffs were always longer than normal since it is one of the largest airports in the country thus a lot of planes coming and going all the time
Yep, it can get pretty congested when ops are confined to a limited number of runways. MSP right now is a perfect example with the 12L/30R construction closure.
Can anyone explain the "buzzing" or rather "drilling" noise at takeoff when the wheels come off the ground till cruise altitude and the seatbelt sign is off? Its far less noticeable in an A350 compared to my recent 777-300 a week ago, but having searched and asked around for videos at takeoff even the A350 has is it in some capacity. I believe it's the compressor that regulates cabin pressure, but some say that's not true.
Engine N1 fan blades going supersonic so you get a buzzsaw type of sound. The thinner the air is the less it’s heard so eventually it becomes inaudible as we climb out. The A350s Rolls Royce Trent XWBs are specifically designed to reduce this sound, so it’s muffled in a sense. The GE90s on the 777s have a very prominent buzzsaw in most cases.
@@twincitiesaviator thank you so much! I’ve deep dive into the matter. To be even more amazed of the engineering aspect of the engines. Still I always kind of knew the noise was never a problem, I didn’t like the sound as it overtakes the beautiful jet engine sounds.
How could an A350 operate into Las Vegas? These planes are mostly used for international flights. Back in late 2021, I traveled from New York to Las Vegas and back on an A330.
@@twincitiesaviator What route is this it’s interesting how DL777 is A321NEO and some that are marked a350 is entirely different plane. I am huge aviation nerd and travel hacker. I’m going to LAS from CLE and I seen A350-900 runs LAX to ATL so I made a quick one leg from LAS-LAX all in same day to get that one way and snagged it for 54k miles pretty much every seat is open what seat were you in I want the best view of the engines? I got 5D but I’m very curious what your destination was from LAS?
Did you know ever since the created the fucking hotel tax, Vegas makes about 300 million a year, not to mention about 300 billion from tourist. Lived there for a about a year couldn't to leave.
Only thing I can imagine youre talking about is the "buzzing" type noise. That is the front fan blades going supersonic at the tips, a lot of Turbofan engines do it, all RR engines do it!
You can tell it’s a domestic flight as the plane flies lower - and thus experiences more turbulence. International flights fly higher and so experience less turbulence as they fly above everything.
Turbulence doesn’t necessarily occur lower vs higher, all depends on fronts, air masses, and the jet steam. The opposite for domestic vs international is actually true. International flights start off cruising lower due to their high loads, but get higher closer to their destination as they burn fuel(lower weight=higher cruise altitude). Domestic flights are generally lighter and can cruise higher overall.
What a wonderful shot. I could watch forever and the view of Las Vegas is just incredible. Only the air conditioning in Las Vegas must have been very, very cold... I've never heard so many people coughing so often on an airplane... 🤒
the transition from city to desert landscape is amazing
Those big flying machines never cease to amaze. Flew three weeks ago. Doesn't even feel like you are moving in one of those !😊

Love the ROAR! Great vid as always.

Love the 747-sp at 25:04 in the back
Best airplane in the skies today :D
Came for a video of the a350, left with a picturesque view of the Doritos pyramid.
🤣
LOL
Tacky.. In the 90s Luxor used to be a nice mid-range hotel now it's a big "economy" motel.

@SWAFanPilool😊😅😮😢🎉😂t
I needed a shave waiting for the actual takeoff.😮
It did take a hot minute! Lots of traffic ahead of us that had to get out first.
Imagine not enjoying the taxi, pleb

That big mountain ridge right there when you're coming or going by air... we call it the "pound cake"...
This gives me CFM-56 vibes..nice video!
Thanks!
Good to see other Sky Team airlines represented at LAS. Wow. What a beautiful departure out of LAS on the Delta A350. Quiet engines.
Domestic A350 route is wild, I love it
I love to see the spinner going the wrong way then the right way and a puff of smoke. Love the engine starts.
Easily a takeoff video I could watch 10x over for just the view alone.
The spirit airlines at the back lol
Who else felt their ears popping just watching it?

Classic video clip of Delta A350 take off out of Vegas
Safe travels and have a good flight
Amazing view on the climb out at KLAS!
Sure was!
Such an awesome video!
Thank you!
Where does DL fly the A359 to out of KLAS?
ICN, MSP, and ATL. ICN and MSP for the Consumer electronics show, ATL for sheer demand as far as I know.
Delta runs a350 from Vegas to Minneapolis? That’s crazy they have so many people flying back and forth between those 2 cities they need the a350 to run the route
It’s a yearly thing for CES. It’ll happen in 2025 too!

@colinfleischhacker4470 very fair chance of that, especially with the unseasonably good weather coming up!
24:24 pure ear candy.
The "roar" is rather tame and quiet
Very, the sound suppression is very effective.
Why do the white anti-collison strobes turn off at around 30:48?
Hmmm, not sure. Didn’t notice until you pointed it out.

1319, 777 is the ATL turn
Ok
Beautiful 😊
Very nice!
Thanks!
Love departing out of here do it every summer!
Interesting view of a 747SP and the JANET 736s during the takeoff roll.
Gotta be very excited Delta ordered 20 A350-1000 in the future!
Absolutely!
An a350 seems like a lot of airplane for a 3-hour hop to Minneapolis. Must be an in-demand route for the time of day/year.
Correct. This hop was implemented for CES. MSP ICN becomes ICN LAS MSP for a couple days to accommodate the demand between ICN and LAS.
Other then BAW I didn’t know there was this too 😮 and A330!
Noted. If you're taking off on the 1's (runways), sit on the port side of the aircraft.
Beautiful. Very short take-off. Was the airplane not full?
Thanks! Nearly a full flight!
Thanks.
砂漠の中に建設した計画大都市のラスベガスが、視察出来て、大変勉強になりますわ。
What gate is the a350 at? Isn’t it too big for the regular delta gates
D24 can fit it and so can D25. We had an Air France 359 next to us before we pushed back.
@@twincitiesaviator ohh ok nice. Only big plane I’ve flown was Delta 767
Hey, rolling takoff . Marvelious
I’ve never noticed how bounce those planes have up in the nose while taxiing. Very tail heavy
Just bouncy struts. The weight is distributed very well, we had a lower pax load.

I have never seen 350-900 at LAS. Only the smaller narrow bodies. Minus the occasional queen
Nice Video.
Thanks!
Whoever wondering this airport, it's Harry Reid International
always gotta be that one person who coughs or sneeze 🤦♂️
That makes me want to plan a flight, get the flight necessities ready and go flying.

5A, 7A/D is a bit easier on the neck though FWIW.

What’s your cam mount or method?
Stabilized in post?

Nope

Las Vegas Sphere
What seat were you in I think. 5A and 5D are the best what route from las is this only a350-900 I know of is lax-atl
5A, 7A/D are better on the neck for the engine and wing views. Worth noting that 7A gets scuffed by the jetbridge though.

Is the engine that loud the entire time inside the cabin?
Virtually inaudible after 10000ft

Too quiet and wimpy sounding compared to the 707 turbofan. This is great for noise control, but not much for exciting sound.
Put it in rain or snow and it’s a different story.
