757 sit back and enjoy the ride. Flew from Portland Or to Atlanta years back in a 757, then flew back in a 767. The 757 was a real pleasure and felt like a rocket when departing.
God, this brings back memories. ORD to LAX and back again, twice a year, to my girlfriend's college, 2002 to 2006. There's really nothing like soaring out over the ocean (though that confused the hell out of me the first time, lol) then rounding back and getting a beautiful aerial view of the Grand Canyon. Happiest years of my adult life.
Absolutely agree, except the trip was reversed for me. I lived in WLA/SM for almost 20 years and would fly home to the Midwest over holidays. I was always so excited to be off work for 2 weeks and see family and girlfriend that I didn't mind being treated like cattle at check-in and security. I hated coming back for the first few days after vacation was over but then I'd catch a sunset, take in some ocean air, and see the bay encircling us (18:00 is a good example). It was like the city putting its arm around me and saying welcome back. LA's like that. A prospective lover who alternately entices you, then ghosts you, then lifts you up and makes you believe anything is possible, then gives you half a phone number and tells you to figure the rest out. Watching this video is the first time I've actually missed it since I moved away.
That butterfly preserve area use to be a whole neighborhood called surfridge. It got torn down decades ago.... and if you go in there you can see streets, manhole covers, palm trees, fire hydrants, and storm drains
I used to watch a lot of someone else's channel for airplane take offs and landings. But I see that your channel has much clearer video, so I'll watch your channel's videos.
If you ever get a chance to visit Los Angeles you should definitely do it! There are so many fun things to do there, and the weather is almost always perfect. I'm from Dallas and I fly out to LA quite often just for fun on a weekend. You should also plan to visit Santa Catalina island, right off the coast, beautiful place and super nice town of Avalon there.
On the outside seeing the planes, the RB211 roars while the PW2000 thunders. Both have beautiful engine sounds. They at times can have similar "notes" but will always be different due to the fan blades, the cone that's in the very middle of the fan blades and the shape/size of the entire engine. ❤❤❤😊😊
Alright! Best part of the video was from 7:34-7:37!!!!(nice view of a NY Mets hat in the window reflection!!)😎👍🧢⚾🏟️ But in addition to that nice views of the water and the whole surrounding LA area after takeoff!!👍👍✈️🛫

Beautiful planes ❤❤😊😊
Good view of the butterfly preserve. Love the 757!

Awesome view of the coast line and Southern California! ✈️ Love the 757-300!
Love the ocean view during takeoff!
I just got back from another trip to LA for a long weekend trip, just for fun! I love going out there, so much to do!
Good video. If loving the 757 is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
4:09 the hum from the engines 🥺
Beautiful view of the ocean 👍🏾
Really good video, I enjoyed it!

Much appreciated! Glad you enjoy them!
It's so cool that you got to go to LAX. It would be so cool to go there. I live in ND so it's a little bit out of my reach.

Nice B757 💙 ✈
Thanks!
Takeoff at 11:20
☝🏻
Nice sound, also C-17 Globmaster same engine. PW2000!!
Does Delta have TechOps in MSP as well?
Flying ✏️!
Boeing 757-300
PW2000 growls decently but the Rolls RB211 growls the best

Does the LAX - MSP route still fly over Las Vegas?
Yep!
Universal Studios Hollywood 19:52
If they closed Los Angeles airport, would it then be known as ExLax?
LOL
Is this aircraft powered by Rolls Royce RB-211 engine?
Pratt and Whitney 2000
Yes
The engines are rotating anti clockwise, they are P&W
that is a plane.
I hope Boeing resurrects the 757 on the assembly line.
Someone's playing Mario or something because i keep hearing sound effects
Yeah I wound up next to the one kid that had to be playing a video game. 🙄
@@twincitiesaviatorI think the kid is playing Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS
Every time a 757-300 lands at FLL it always slams its' nose gear on the ground.
