Yeah, Nintendo should make DLC skins where we able change Link, Mario, Fox and other Nintendo character and even Sonic into retro design. It's would amazing see retro design of Samus, Captain Falcon, Ness, Fox, Donkey Kong, Yoshi and other in 3D model.
@@henrythepurplepoodledog612 does Samus’ Power Suit count as a Classic design? Also, I remember when Modern DK had more of a Classic look when Miyamoto suggested using the design. It didn’t go to waste, though, they were using that design in Game Boy games like Donkey Kong ‘94 and the Game & Watch Gallery series.
The voicelines fit their respective parts perfectly. They can easily use these if they ever did a Classic Link character or pulled a Hero on Link and made various costumes of his incarnations, complete with respective voices!

The original design for link is the best design hands down. Drives me nuts that they wont give us a true 3d adventure with him. But im glad we got a 3d 2d game at least. Something about this design just has more of a fantasy vibe than the others, and also the simplicity of the original shield and sword make me nostalgic of a better time.
@@Soulintent95 I don't know if the map of ALTTP would fit in full 3D and aside from Wind Waker we didn't see a non realistic Link design in full 3D. In a way Breath of the Wild was a reimagining of the original Zelda game but I doubt Nintendo would tacle classic Zelda again.
@@ikagura ya i know that about botw but the tunic that looks like classic link sucks sadly. I think alttp world could be perfect for it, they could just expand certain spots. For example, idk if you played god of war, but a big trick they do is they draw out a lot of internal areas like mines in a mountain. They could do that with the alttp world and also make the field segments larger. I think albw was great. But id prefer a genuine 3d adventure. And at any rate, they could do another alternate world thing. The whole expansive interiors would actually work real well with the altp world, they can just write it off as areas they couldnt show given hardware limitations. Plus that link really isnt all that special of a link, so they could say he was unable to figure out how to get in there. Could play as him when hes older and more experienced, or his son.

When you need grunts for a silent protagonist, look up Zelda games. They grunt with the best of them.
