@@deeezz844 The reason for me is the self realisation that I like science and technology. Through software industry you can achieve better lifestyle, good salery, good opportunity but one thing is missing is that the reason why I studied engineering.

Work is in general hectic, especially in startups. But for companies like Intel and Qualcomm, work life is very healthy. I am not sure what should you do because AAI is very good place to work. Long term growth in VLSI is immense. But only consider VLSI if you are really really passionate about electronics. Otherwise it will be very difficult for you to survive in this fast pace changing technology
