I’m beginning to see why the Smiths have a similar drinking problem to both the Griffins, Simpsons, Marshes and McCormmicks.
Stan’s dad basically abandoned him when he was a kid. His mother tricked him into killing his dog so they can move into a crappy apartment. He got bullied during his teenage years. He didn’t get to be with the girl of his dreams during CIA training.
Francine was abandoned by her parents. She was abused in a Christian orphanage that same way Atsushi from Bungou Stray Dogs was abused. And she has an Asian cousin way better than her in high school.
Hayley grew up with a strict dad. She watched a seal get clubbed to death during her 6th birthday. Her husband was launched into space and came back as an alien.
Steve was bullied at highschool. He had a string of bad relationships. And he grew up with a strict dad.
Klaus accidentally caused the death of his childhood icons. His fiancée at university cheated on him during the olympics. His kind was swapped with that of a fish. He was held prisoner by the man who took part of the mind swapping. And his mother died.
Jeff’s mom abandoned him. His dad framed him for a drug bust and he never loved him. He was thrown in space and died. And there’s the whole thing of him being reborn from Roger.
