I have not played eso in over a year for their treatment of people. I also refuse to buy starfield. Now we need to multiply that by 50,000 people for them to figure it out. Bethesda is a bad word in this house hold now.

Hoarcrux, you've released videos specifically talking about certain exploits in the game and how to reproduce them to "make PvP fun again". This year, you did a video about how Scavenging Maw procs without poison damage. Half a week after you released that video, it felt like everyone and their mother was running around Cyrodiil with Scavenging Maw Bows. I don't know whether you intend these videos to be educational, but the fact is that there are people using these exploits after learning them from you. Can ZoS be heavy-handed? Absolutely. It doesn't change the fact that you have played a part in this issue and violated TOS by teaching people how to take advantage of bugs to kill people in PvP. If I made a TH-cam video about how to sneak a bomb onto an international flight, and somebody uses that information to blow up a plane, I couldn't just shrug and say "educational purposes", then complain and call the FBI nacissists when I get clapped in handcuffs. And if this really is some conspiracy to target you, and you truly believe that you're going to be banned anyway, then unless you specifically signed a legally binding NDA, just go scorched earth and release all the evidence. A few ten second audio clips of (allegedly) Boyd Beasley taken completely out of context aren't going to do much to help your case.
From what I know from a development side of thing is if a user finds a bug/exploit, it should be brought to the developer's attention, and they have a hot link you can post it to and they will deal with it case by case. Making bugs public is the last thing developers wanted because obviously people will copy cat exploit it to the fullest extent and ruin it for everyone else. There has been past bugs that zos fixed without the majority of player base knowing it until the patch notes release, and that is how it should be. Hoacrux is in the wrong on this one. He being more higher profile than your average player will have some of the developing team's ears that he can DM to for bugs fixing. But he choose views and clout rather than making the game better.

Another helpful thing is to provide tickets you make on bugs with updates. even "empty" ones would be better than radio silence and no fixes. The word "feedback" was quite literally BANNED from their twitch chat (i have proof of this) along with "pvp" , "Cyrodiil" and performance related words. I have been testing and providing EXTENSIVE bug reports since 2015 and most of them are still in the game. The only ones that got immediately fixed were buff limit overflows i reported. Which yeah. im glad they fixed those. But what about all the other game breaking or unfair advantage-gaining bugs. What of the numerous out of bounds that are used for people's advantage, what about the numerous NPC farms (instant respawning, often out of bounds NPCs). What about the crystal frag proc exploit, what about the WW exploit , what about undo clipping into keeps, what about scroll barrier damage negation exploits? what about mortal coil healing through walls with infinite horizontal range in the opposite direction? what about vampire transformation nulling unmitigatable dmg including instakills (see scroll barrier damage negation) What about "soft teleport barriers" being negated by walking through them while dead? what about breaking speedcap using side jumping? All this and MANY more things ive reported. all of the above still possible.
@@PuddingZebra my response is 2 wrongs do not make it right. I am not a zos insider so I do not know their capabilities and limitations. It may just well be that they do not know how to fix their own game, or upper management issue with resource allocation. Whatever the cause is to long term bugs not being fix does not give user the cause to publicly announce them as what good will it do? The game is still broken but now only more people will exploite the broken state even further. To my knowledge zos do fix bugs/exploits depending on how serious it is and if it is reasonably fixable on their end. Example the archanist one shot shield ulti exploit was reported 2 weeks before hoacrux post his vid on it (I know a few people that reported it). That one zos took it seriously and was working on it as it was very game breaking pvp wise. Had hoacrux not post a vid about it the patch would still be a go ahead, but nope for clout he posted it and for a few days after I personally notice more copy cats trying to ruin people's fun with that exact exploit. From that alone I can see why the dev team wanted him banned as what he did was completely unnecessary.

You should ponder about whether you want to let ESO go, for your own sake. Eventually, its just a video game and you suffer from mental issues from it on a regular. But thats just my perception. Wish u all the best

There has certainly been controversy regarding you, but overall you've only been a beneficial contribution to the ESO community. I personally have benefited greatly from your content which has improved my enjoyment of the game. The comment on the your content being used to enhance exploiting the game and promoting botting is absolutely ridiculous... They are just making stuff up. There is nothing in any of your videos that could possibly be used to severely exploit the game... My trust in this game company is really shaken by the disrespect they show their players like this. I don't think I'll be continuing with ESO... My life is too busy as of the moment anyways. ESO has been my favorite game for some time but I don't want to support this type of disrespect to paying customers. =/

Hey. Overall trying to stay out of the drama and just play games I like. Altough one thing. Not knowing rules doesn't make you free to break them. Not knowing what they call exploit doesn't mean you can promote that (Or not actually promote an exploit but give that title). Also another thing that I'm 22 and every single game treats exploits like ZoS, very similar wording, nothing to do with third party software being used or not. ZoS policies are bad, monetization is pretty predatory and such but these are things you can't ignore on your side sadly :/ I hope this whole situation resolves, but this mask of they saying "whatever" makes people think you being narcissistic. Acknowledging one thing and denying or "whatever"-ing 5 others is literally a thing people do instead of validating errors they make. I've been a massive supporter and fan of Bethesda for years but if this how they think you should treat customers they can do without my contributions in the future. The need to quit worrying about your content and worry about fixing their game. 90% of the players on console are using cronus because they have no skills of their own, and the devs refuse to do anything about it. There's still a damn combat glitch that's been going on for so many years I lost count. But let the crown store have any problem what so ever and that is fixed immediately. I switched to pc and now play mostly survival games because eso was so broken. "Here let me give y'all the oakensoul ring, a month later oops too op, gotta nerf it". An exploit is anything but accidental. It's intentionally using a weakness in an application to accomplish something the application developers did not intend.
All the pandering in ESO has made it a game only for those who enjoy constant letdown, constant empty promises, and content more than half of the player base don't want or like. The last upgrade felt like a slap in the face and I quit playing it unless my wife needs help killing something.. I hope zos sees this, you ruined a game we your paycheck loved and now can't stand.

Dear Hoarcrux, i do understand this is rather confusing for ya, and i really hope it will turn out better than this. But there is a link in logic i cannot see differently. Its good you let people know about exploits so these can be fixed, but lets shift our perception a lil: The more exploits are being publicly shown, the more exploits will be missused within that certain period of time until its fixed (cuz people suck).. and that might take a while since its still a challenge to find / fix these things. Not to forget the devs have more tasks to do. If you'd share these vids for educational purposes, thats a good thing. But realisticaly, it turns out for the worst. Cyrodiil will be filled with exploiters this way... I hate to bring it to you like this, but this way you are the problem of a possible growth of exploiters. One month later and NA PVP XBOX Greyhost, the last competitive and crowded pvp campaign is OFICIALLY DEAD. DC took almost 7000 points advantage [campaing will end 15 days], AD was ahead but "suddenly" they surrender the field, and DC running third in just one week are 7000 points ahead. EP rooster try to give fight but when AD leaving all its field to DC all is over. But Bethesda ZoS call that "the normal pvp situation". How the hell can be normal a whole alliance "surrender" their outpost a whole week? AD meatbags like me are in whole rage, and EP rooster is just desperate cuz fight whole days to get nothing. It is that a real pvp campaign? Greyhost became the new Blackreach or Icereach, just a place for old guild gankers to get emperor title in their 40 some toon, with their gankers friends: AD in the morning, EP in the afternoon, DC ate night, the next day the same rotation.
The content any one makes is of no business of anyone. Game devs need to worry about their game, additionally if a player posts a video of a bug or exploit its up to the devs to fix it in no world is it the players fault that it's in the game is the devs fault. The content you create is yours not theirs, this retaliation from the company only shows us that they do not care about the game, if they did they wouldn't be so worried about looking bad.

Sounds like they don't want you to expose the games weaknesses, either 1. They don't care enough to fix them or 2. They are benefiting from the "expolits" themselves. Usually people that go on the defensive have something to hide to begin with.
I’m not gonna hate on you just some constructive criticism, I wouldn’t have made the comment about "zos is trying to keep food out of kids mouth by not putting me on the article" because let’s be honest eso is a dying game and no one really looks at what the dev’s post unless it’s patch notes, you’re not gonna get any traction from the article more then likely. That’s the only thing that i can see people not liking and I would’ve maybe backed it up with the fact that you had voice recordings originally in the first video but you didn’t wanna get banned for releasing the audio. Zos dev team is pathetic confirmed. In my experience gen X aged professionals are much dumber and slower than their millennial counterparts. I get why a bunch of 40-50 year olds would hate you just based on age.

Since you got the developer's attention, can you please get them to fix the Sentry Set? It hasn't been refreshed since the stealth/invis/cloak QoL refresh and bug reports don't do anything lmao You're definitely looking for trouble uploading gamebreaking bugs but they won't fix them without them being revealed... Example the archanist one shot shield ulti exploit was reported 2 weeks before hoacrux post his vid on it (I know a few people that reported it). That one zos took it seriously and was working on it as it was very game breaking pvp wise.
Had hoacrux not post a vid about it the patch would still be a go ahead, but nope for clout he posted it and for a few days after I personally notice more copy cats trying to ruin people's fun with that exact exploit.
From that alone I can see why the dev team wanted him banned as what he did was completely unnecessary.

Hey. Overall trying to stay out of the drama and just play games I like. Altough one thing. Not knowing rules doesn't make you free to break them. Not knowing what they call exploit doesn't mean you can promote that (Or not actually promote an exploit but give that title). Also another thing that I'm 22 and every single game treats exploits like ZoS, very similar wording, nothing to do with third party software being used or not. ZoS policies are bad, monetization is pretty predatory and such but these are things you can't ignore on your side sadly :/ I hope this whole situation resolves, but this mask of they saying "whatever" makes people think you being narcissistic. Acknowledging one thing and denying or "whatever"-ing 5 others is literally a thing people do instead of validating errors they make.

They act like they don't care but you know from this that pvp is the number 1 thing they care about because it's their pride at stake, it's literally us, the players, versus them, the devs. And they cheat hardcore to win. I've been a massive supporter and fan of Bethesda for years but if this how they think you should treat customers they can do without my contributions in the future. The need to quit worrying about your content and worry about fixing their game. 90% of the players on console are using cronus because they have no skills of their own, and the devs refuse to do anything about it. There's still a damn combat glitch that's been going on for so many years I lost count. But let the crown store have any problem what so ever and that is fixed immediately. I switched to pc and now play mostly survival games because eso was so broken. "Here let me give y'all the oakensoul ring, a month later oops too op, gotta nerf it". An exploit is anything but accidental. It's intentionally using a weakness in an application to accomplish something the application developers did not intend.
All the pandering in ESO has made it a game only for those who enjoy constant letdown, constant empty promises, and content more than half of the player base don't want or like.
The last upgrade felt like a slap in the face and I quit playing it unless my wife needs help killing something..

In all fairness Hoarcrux I don't get involved in any drama, I usually do not care about the personal Issues with streamers... I guess you could call me a consumer for content, with little to no interest to the drama within the community. With that being said, I did get drawn into it a little, started by the react video with regards to the feed the kids, to which you requested. I guess I formed an opinion on the matter and the evidence you have shown, proves without reasonable doubt I fell into the trap to the smear campaign. For that i'd like to apologise. But moving on to the elephant in the room, how it's affecting you! The language you do use is rather concerning, I hope you don't feel as if the world outside of ESO/The gaming community are the same, I hope you don't carry around the negativity of other's opinion as if it was a reflection of your innate character. I guess what I'm tying to say is, from the outside looking in, you appear to be deflated & defensive. But there is a link in logic i cannot see differently. Its good you let people know about exploits so these can be fixed, but lets shift our perception a lil:
The more exploits are being publicly shown, the more exploits will be missused within that certain period of time until its fixed (cuz people suck).. and that might take a while since its still a challenge to find / fix these things. Not to forget the devs have more tasks to do. If you'd share these vids for educational purposes, thats a good thing. But realisticaly, it turns out for the worst. Cyrodiil will be filled with exploiters this way...
I hate to bring it to you like this, but this way you are the problem of a possible growth of exploiters.
Best to share these things privately, instead of publicaly. Most folks arent this righteous when it comes to a fair play.

One month later and NA PVP XBOX Greyhost, the last competitive and crowded pvp campaign is OFICIALLY DEAD. DC took almost 7000 points advantage [campaing will end 15 days], AD was ahead but "suddenly" they surrender the field, and DC running third in just one week are 7000 points ahead. EP rooster try to give fight but when AD leaving all its field to DC all is over. But Bethesda ZoS call that "the normal pvp situation". How the hell can be normal a whole alliance "surrender" their outpost a whole week? AD meatbags like me are in whole rage, and EP rooster is just desperate cuz fight whole days to get nothing. It is that a real pvp campaign? Greyhost became the new Blackreach or Icereach, just a place for old guild gankers to get emperor title in their 40 some toon, with their gankers friends: AD in the morning, EP in the afternoon, DC ate night, the next day the same rotation.
The content any one makes is of no business of anyone. Game devs need to worry about their game, additionally if a player posts a video of a bug or exploit its up to the devs to fix it in no world is it the players fault that it's in the game is the devs fault. The content you create is yours not theirs, this retaliation from the company only shows us that they do not care about the game, if they did they wouldn't be so worried about looking bad.
