We Slept in a Royal Palace in India | Exploring Taj Mahal & Agra & Karauli

- The day has finally arrived - we are seeing wonder of the world - the Taj Mahal! This is a day we will always remember - super special.
After the 4 hour drive from Delhi to Agra we spent our mid-morning exploring the walled off city of Agra Fort - which was a nice teaser as we could see the Taj in the background!
That afternoon our eyes were glistening as we saw the Taj Mahal in person - wow, we can see why it's called a world wonder. Even though we spent all afternoon there we still woke up in the morning to go and see it again for sunrise - best time to see it!
We then went on our way to explore the streets of Karauli, where we spent the night inside a Royal Indian Palace.

@@DigitalLumad It's got desert in the west, Himalayas in the north and North East, huge coastline from West to South and running up to the east. Plus fresh, brackish water lakes, flora and fauna, wild life sanctuaries, backwaters and thousands of years old monuments, Palaces, Forts, temples etc.
India has tonnes of things to do if u come hear with open arms. Embrace the culture and don't fight it.
India is definitely stunning and beautiful. Ill never forget my trip to India. One of the best surprises of my life.
next time use OLA taxi and talk to a local for a better experience 😅😅😅
@@daathisone5459 luckily i got a friend from India, so we were able to get around using OLA, it was very convenient and affordable. And i attended a colleagues wedding in Raipur for 3 days... I wont forget the baraat!!! It was very tiring, dancing on the streets, and come in to a hall with buffet so long with guests that are like thousands. Super festive!

I’m crying! You just brought back some incredible memories of my visit to the Taj 40 years ago. I remember touching the marble walls and being amazed at the beautiful semi precious stone designs in the marble. I still have the little marble jewelry box I bought with the same patterns on it. Thankyou!! 💕💕
Ma’am, you should visit the Taj again. It’ll be a completely different experience. Unfortunately, most of the changes you’d find negative, but I bet it’ll be an experience!

if you think this is beautiful, just imagine how it was before the British army came and looted all the jewels. the Taj was engraved with emeralds and different types of precious jems, stones, and diamond so that when the sun rise and set, the building would glow. But then, the British army removed all the stones and diamonds and took it to England. just as they took the Kohinoor diamond (largest uncut diamond in the world) its now in the queens crown, also the largest blue diamond from a temple. its sad, the British colonist robbed India of so much precious jewels, it could've helped the country develop. fyi, plz no shade to the current British people, its not their fault, it was the political leaders and army. we are all humans and we need to show respect and love to one another.

Actually the kohinoor Diamond has never been worn by the queen and it is nit the largest diamond to be cut, that is actually the cullinan diamond also you talk about the jewels helping development as if the British did not help develop India. Wasn’t it the British that built most of India’s rail ways and infrastructure?

Everything was so beautiful I thought i was in ancient india , i didn’t know story about tajmahal it was pretty interesting too.
India also have many 5000 years old temples

Oh you two! You've done it again, this time you have taken me back to India. Over 8 years ago, but I still remember walking through the gate and getting my first glimpse of the Taj Mahal. Incredible. India is such a special place that can't really be described, it's a place you need to experience for yourself.

The walls of the Taj Mahal are incruste with semi precious gems...so at different moments the sun is the colors changed...amazing 💗
I have never been to Agra or seen Taj Mahal..My father went there a few years ago. He is not someone who gets pleased with everything so easily which is disheartening sometimes. But when I asked him what is it like to see Taj infront of the eyes, he said "It is definitely not exaggerating to called it a wonder.I have never seen anything so beautiful like Taj Mahal. For a moment I felt so emotional seeig the grandeur of the monument.Everyone should see it atleast once in their lifetime" I too will visit Taj someday.

Please correct the map of India at 2:04. It is not accurate as it doesn't show accurate border lines around the region of Kashmir as claimed by India. It is a disputed area but it is still under Indian region.
