- Silent Hill distinguished itself from Resident Evil and the rest of the survival horror pack by having a more open approach to horror that leaves a lot up for interpretation. This approach has given rise to several fan theories of varying quality. One of the most infamous Silent Hill fan theories rose to prominence in December of 2015, when users realized that an admin of the Silent Hill wiki, AlexShepherd, had added tons of commentary about circumcision to the entry on Walter Sullivan, the main antagonist of Silent Hill 4.
These edits led to a huge thread on the wiki culminating in one of the Internet's most glorious meltdowns.

I think quite the opposite. He's probably uncut and overheard some girls saying they prefer cut guys. I beat the game recently and would like to add a quick detail about the plot: without spoiling too much, Walter’s parents abandoned him as soon as he was born and he was not born in a hospital. This means that it is incredibly unlikely he was circumcised at all(not even his umbilical cord was cut). Surprised no one mentioned it.

Hi, i have a psychotic disorder and i can say w abt 80% certainty this person was experiencing a moment of revelation and a break from reality.
It's genuinely sad to hear how frustrated and angry he gets in his responses to criticism bc i know that feeling - thinking you've found "truth", trying to share it, being rebuffed or told to stop or be quiet.
The worst part is that for many people who experience psychosis, they may know their beliefs are false or ridiculous or embarrassing, but their brain is wired to act as if those beliefs are true regardless of how they feel about them. It's a very painful and scary situation to be in, and it can leave you permanently stuck with a delusional belief or thought process attached to specific subjects, often including favorite media or real-world relationships and places.

I actually stopped using a couple of websites in order to avoid the conspiracy theorists. If I am not having fun, why bother go there? I just hope some of these people make it back to the normal world, they're wasting time and energy, their mental health and personal relationship suffer for it too.

Ehh I grew up with resident evil and other horror media at the time and although I did suffer from insomnia and chronic nightmares it did make me less susceptible to fear compared to others and its actually helped me in more situations than I thought it would, people are different so it's not surprised how fucked in the head that dude is.
