Its a nice cape design with the grass block representing Java, and Bedrock obviously representing Bedrock edition. Nice video!

Did you migrate your Java account to a Microsoft account? You need to do that and make sure its the same Microsoft account as the one you're using for your bedrock account. I think you'll still have a chance to get the cape.
Nice thing is that Mojang gave out Windows 10 Edition (the precursor to Bedrock Edition) for free to existing Java Edition players a while ago, which means I only had to buy one version and I still get the cape!

Do you have Xbox Game Pass? Because it will give you the cape even though you only bought Java Edition, but since Bedrock is on Gamepass. It gives you the cape.
