This is a review I made over a year ago but then lost before I was able to upload it. So I was very happy to recently rediscover it on a old hard-drive, which hopefully explains some of the outdated references in the video ("last month", "last year").
It was also a particularly timely find as Halloween is Peter Jackson's birthday.

Great review my friend! I love all your work, and it has inspired me to read quite a few of artbooks and such. As for this specific book, I am a huge LOTR fan AND a film student in London, so... I really think I'll get it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!😄

I got this book the year it came out. Might have been the first biography I ever read. Will always have a special place in my heart.

Now I'm wishing I had a wondrously large, custom painted portrait of Peter Jackson resting on my main wall for conversational purposes. Drats...

Did you ever get round to reviewing "Anything You Can Imagine"? I've been eyeing it for a while and would love to hear your opinion on it!

@Hylke Grasmeijer - Ha, well... I realized I have so much to say about that book that it's going to be my first two-part review for one book. But the lack of interest and support for the channel/videos has made it hard to dedicate the required time for such a big review. It's won't be the next review, but definitely the one after that (whenever that may be...)
However, so you're not left in suspense only to be disappointed by my opinion, I'll give you the short version now: it is absolutely horrendous!

@@TheArtandMakingof I don't understand the lack of interest. I found your channel through the Unintentional ASMR channel.
I came for the ASMR and stayed for the content. I've sat for a few hours a day going through your back catalogue of videos since that day and have to say I'm hooked.
Try not to feel jaded, they will come in time.
