I still can't figure out how it looks like a true funnel with depth to it on a flat surface.One hell of an optical illusion.It is simply beautiful!Bravo!!!

Cool! This idea adds the illusion of height and space to a room and high ceilings are an easy going feeling of luxury where more room and space is just grande. If this truly looks like 3D real added space, this has so much potential in a countless number of diverse applications.
One minute Im watching a video on taking apart a hard drive.....then part 2 of taking apart a hard drive....followed by water walls(???) and now 3D effect ceilings. It happens that quick! And I love it that way!! Nice ceiling.

I love it, the optical illusion helps make the area seem larger then it actually it, what a great selling point on your house if you ever sell it.
Man, there is nothing like NY Modern Art movement when it is brought back home and real. Also? This guy just increased his visual living space about 7 fold.

@agenthelios1 If you use a single mirror and a group of LEDs, it can be made to look exactly like this, but since its due to reflection, you can "look into" the tunnel. Look up "Infinite Mirror"

pretty cool. Is this a do-it-yourself project?? Do I have to get a professional?
you can do it yourself, the base concept is easy. a big frame, tinted glass with a a big mirror on the back and LED Btape around the edges, though this one look done by a professional as it is 1000 times better then ones you can do at home though i suspect it's all just in the know how
brandon hughes you are wrong this is not an infinity mirror. this video is an illusion of 3d based on the 3d illusion printed material being back lit in certain areas.
