Janet’s Control album was the template for R&B in the 90’s Let’s Wait Awhile came out in 1986(!!!!) along with Funny how time Files. This is probably my favorite song by a female artist with honorable mention to Whitney.

Ashley, you have a lot of homework. You can’t just listen to the tracks released as singles. You have to listen to her entire albums. Some of her best tracks are the unreleased ones: “Moist,” “Warmth,” “He Doesn’t Even Know That I’m Alive,” “Trust A Try,” “Livin’ In A World…,” “The Velvet Rope,” “This Time,” “The Body That Loves You,” “So Much Betta,” etc….
