So appreciate you covering this topic! It was alarming and concerning when it hit the media. Wonderful to remove this from the worry list with you making this informative video for us.
I fretted for months about this. Last week I said whatever. I look tough after all the treatments last year. I feel so much lighter now. Thank you for this information. Maybe what vaccines are safe after treatment?

I wonder do any cleaning products, such as bleach, dish detergent, body lotion cause cancer?
While avoiding inhalation or direct contact with these chemicals, there is no evidence that they increase the risk of breast cancer. Thank you for watching.
Thank you doc..for the info

Always wondered about this thank you.
On a different note, could you clarify if the risk factors for Her2 positive ER negative breast cancer are the same as for ER+. What makes me wonder is some of the risks for breast cancer relate to exposure to estrogen across a lifetime for eg early age when periods start, number of pregnancies. Do these risk factors apply to Her2+, ER negative breast cancers? Thank you.
The same risk factors appear to apply, yes. There is a lot we don't know of course, but it does not appear that the risk profile differs between cancers with the exception of triple-negative cancer. Thank you for watching.
Hi Dr what about use of henna can that course cancar?
There is no evidence that henna causes breast cancer.
Thank you for this helpful information. Do you have any information, please, regarding how long one should wait to dye their hair after finishing adjuvant Taxotere/Cytoxan x4 cycles? I have round 3 tomorrow. TNBC. Thank you!
Most people have enough hair three months after chemotherapy to be able to remove any head covering they have been wearing. There is no reason not to be able to dye the hair at this point.
I know someone whos risk factors were really low..had childrenyoung . Breast feed two children for a total of 30 months . No history of breast cancer on fathers side mothers side or in her older fours sisters . Her father had seven sisters her mother had one. No grandmother with breast cancer she was the youngest of them all and got breastcancer herself. No she did not dye her hair because she went grey late
Explain that .was she over weight mo did she have a bad diet no. Did she take hrt no . But then again men get breast cancer to her grandfathers did not.
It is so tempting to wonder what we have done to cause a disease like breast cancer. For over half of people with breast cancer, there are no known risk factors. Thank you for watching.
I just came across one video by Dr. Avrum bluming, he has spoken about hormone replacement therapy for breast cancer survivors, even ER PR postive breast cancer, and people on AI hormone therapy,
Do you think it is correct to start HRT for women on Aromatese inhibitors like letrozole.
Hormone replacement therapy will "undo" the effect of the aromatase inhibitors, which work by decreasing estrogen in your body. For that reason, hormone replacement therapy is unlikely to be offered. Thank you for watching.
