They do tremendous damage to those who are searching for the Lord, but find lies... I personally love the sinner, but Righteously hate the sin... God warned those in authority within the body, NOT to Preach a false Gospel... They are held accountable for those they've led to Hell... This would scare me enough NEVER to do it!

And that goes for anyone who says they are a “Christian” but promotes evil. Anyone who aligns with the secular culture is not a follower of Jesus. Jesus said the secular world would hate those who love and follow him because they hates him first. Strong word: hate!
The pastors have the visible platform to call out the evil occurring in our communities and our country. We left our previous home church after the senior pastor openly stated during the riots of 2020 that he will not speak om politics and current events.
If protecting children from being sexualized is considered “attacking” a certain community, then that community needs to be attacked.

Esther, and you should read the book which is in the Old Testament, was someone, a *real* woman, who was taken out of slavery and eventually became the Queen of the Medo-Persian Empire. But even she could not come to the King unbidden, or she would face death.
But she did (no spoilers here)! She spoke TRUTH to Power.
Eric Metaxis is one who is doing the *same!* Thus, he displays the 'Esther spirit'.

@@bernhardbauer5301 Eric Metaxas is an author. He makes his living writing. He isn't a pastor. Of course everyone should read and study the scriptures above all else. If you haven't read the bible read it first. If you are not a Christ follower you need to be. Then read this book. It is extremely relevant to what is happening today in the world. It is a call for the church to wake up so that we don't have a repeat of Nazi Germany only on steroids.

You are spot on, Eric. My grandparents came from Germany in 1907 to America...they saw the pending doom of WW1 which came years later, but the groundwork was being set. Love how you explain it all❤

Yes, it would be nice if the pastors in America would stand up, but, if they don’t, we (individuals) should. We must be willing to stand alone now. We must not wait for others to join.
American pastors expose one another. Who is right? Perhaps both.
Who is wrong? Both!
Who preaches Christ? Nobody.
Who preaches the Gospel? Nobody.
They do not even know the Gospel.
They do not know Christ.
If you stop giving money to the "church" they will disapear.
I read Bonhoeffer, and it lit a fire in me to live for Jesus even more. I love Jesus so much, but knowing the evils we are up against and will be up against in the future, gives me a renewed sense of standing strong for what’s coming.
The silence of the Church has made is now the ignored! Like he said..."we've muzzled ourselves." Pastors need to preach the Word unapologetically and stand up for the truth of God's Word! It has the answers this dying world needs!
So true of what is happening now in our own country. We must turn back to God. Truth is truth and,he is speaking the truth. Obey God first!!!

I just finished Bonhoeffer a few days ago. This was a great timing for a recap/conclusion for that book.
This is a powerful & succinct message. I hope people share as I am. I hope people recognize how courageous Eric is in his truth telling. We must be spiritually awake & aware to stand. When we are in front of God for our review, will He say well done, or simply, Well?
I love this guy he hit the nail on the head. I speak about loosing our country all the time and most democrats I know try to shut me down because they don’t want to hear it.
Love this. Telling people the truth may hurt but it can save their souls. We just can't be , oh God just wants us to love all people He will handle it. There is a ground- swell of God's people awakening to the in-your-face evil being perpetrated in Canada - where I reside - and in the USA. Some are very bold and are not going to stop fighting "the good fight".May this be so for all of us!

I have recently written a Letter To The Churches in the Eastern Panhandle of WV to bring awareness to our (the church) responsibility to open our eyes , ears and hearts to the devastation of death to overdose of opioids. My heart as a Christian is to help raise awareness, but especially to be a witness in hopes of leading the lost to the Lord

When I understand the depth of it which I don’t attest to it is that miracle that I hold onto that then I can forgive others so easily it’s not based upon the person doing anything, but also based on the fact that if I don’t forgive, then it can be said of me that I dont really know God

Ge expresses my internal beliefs about the silence of the church. We don't want tp be labeled intolerant, or racist or transphobic, etc. Language we allow and use. Isn't the most loving thing we can do is speak truth.

Amen, praying for you!!!! Pastors need to be confronted with their wrong thinking of being so liberal/woke or corrupt.
I can't see Pastors of different Christian faiths ever linking arms in solidarity and fighting this evil because their egos won't allow them to work with other denominations. They covet their own little group and opening it up to other faiths would be a risk and a controversy that they're not willing to pursue. They'd rather remain silent and part of the 12,000.
The pastors I know would not do what you are stating. There are quite a few in my community who would link arms.

The Charasmatic Renewal in 70's brought pastors and leaders of many denominations to unite. They washed each others feet in a historic ceremony in Kansas City gathering. The true remnant church will be made up of believers from many walks including Pentecostals, Catholic and traditional Prostestates! How ? By the outpouring of God the Holy Spirit !

I am not a christian but I love your work and like you have been saying this for a very long time.
I admire Eric very much. I agree we must be bold witnesses in this evil time. But I believe these times are ordained of God, and we are very close to the rapture and tribulation. I do not see any way this will be turned around. I am looking for the kingdom of Christ, not any earthly politician. We are living in the feet of Daniel's statue.
But, God still commanded us to stand up for what is true and right and not just sit around waiting for the end.
@TheUkulelegal I agree. For me the focus is on sharing the gospel, winning eternal souls to Christ, and trying to open folks' eyes to what is happening to our world through sharing Scripture.
This is precisely why folks who say eschatology doesn't matter, are out to lunch. It definitely frames how we respond to the moral collapse of society. If we're convinced we're getting raptured in our lifetime, then we're essentially just going to tread water till that happens. However, if we believe that we could just be in another "time of the judges" where every man does what is right in his own eyes, then that means this could just be a cycle that will eventually give way to an upright nation again. The truth is that, either way, the church needs to be engaged as stewards of this nation, bringing the truth of God's word to bear on all aspects of life, and actively participating in the privilege of actually having a say over who our local and federal leaders are. Meanwhile, we oppose the shedding of innocent blood, the chemical castration of children, and the sexual corruption of minors. Like Telemachus, we stand up and say, "In the name of Christ, STOP!" Like David, we say, "Who are you to suppose you can stand and mock Yahweh?" Looking for opportunities to share the gospel? Try living your life like that and just watch the zany hijinks that will ensue.
