The Claws is actually the original Concept for either Jockey and Charger. and it's very intelligent and strong and faster.
It would be like a witch but playable for the vs mode

There was the mechanic where the hunter can can jump from a ceiling and hang upside down like Spiderman, but the thing is that it'll be too hard to spot the enemy player hunter or a npc hunter, the screen will had to be upsidedown also which again both makes hunting the hunter be as hard as well as the player playing as the hunter, so yeah WRATH that's a cut contacts because the hunter would be way too difficult to play or master at the skills it needs to pull off, but u can still hop on the walls as the hunter just need to be quick on ur turns n jump around like crazy

claws is prob stonger than tank cause claws has a really far knockback but tank only knockbacks a little idk

In the lore the "green flu" mutates daily that could explain why that creature that formed

What would make sense with the hunter, the infection made some kind of sticky substance on their skin that they can crawl on walls and ceilings, and it’s not just their claws doing all the work.

CLAWS Aka The Warlock would have been a interesting one to see in game since it could have appeared in the second half of the campaign, dead center, the passing and dark carnival we would only see signs of the warlock and even shadows of it leaving the area but when we get to the second half it becomes visible and even interacts with the environment until the last mission on the bridge where you have to fight it

I think that was the same hunter from the first video, also the hunter on the ceiling is actually cut content and I think everything else is too, I think in the last video he would have brought in the hellhogs and the last two cut specials, one would bury itself into the ground and act like a acidic landmine and the other would barf fucking rats which is nasty as I remember it
I know WWZ added rat swarms as an enemy, including a booster zombie that buffed infected around it.

Imagine if claws was released in the game. You would be playing as the most strongest and most smartest zombie in the server. That fact that it can leap, doge, you a player as a meat shield, durable to gunfire, and has very sharp claws. This thing could beat Mr X. Or wesker.

The riot shield was actually a melee weapon that was for l4d but I don’t think it blocked frontal damage it was just a melee
The answer is:
Valve wanted to keep the zombies more human like and these weren't really work well in game. Like, the Behemoth/Fleshpit would take a long time to kill and it will slow down the game
