Im A CRT Collector As Well And I Found One Of These On The Side Of The Road So I Picked It Up And Now Its In My CRT Collection. Its Also One Of My Biggest CRTs But I Love It As Well :D
>:) It's incredible the detail, i'll prob show my Sony here soon in comparison (if it shows in the video) but what makes the difference is having great convergence and a sharp picture.
Just found one the other night on the curb in fantastic condition. My previous CRT was serving me well but was a tad beaten up. Unfortunately I don't have the remote which makes switching video outs annoying but I can make do, I just dislike the audio out is shared between the component and s-video. The picture is beautiful regardless.
I have a TX-2735. I haven’t busted it out yet, but I’m excited to have a CRT that seems like it’s good for NES/Master System-PS1/Saturn/N64 as well as the “HD” era of CRT/gaming like Xbox and PS2.
I have a tx-2035, one of the best tvs I have. its the most vibrant and brightest tv I have, i own a pvm-2950q and a jvc av-36d303 but I prefer the samsung for my bedroom
Have you ever thought of using an L&R audio splitter cable so you don't have to switch out audio jacks constantly? I'm using a splitter for each channel (left and right) to share between my component media box player audio cables and my composite signal console. No audio degradation (as long as you have one or the other tuned in and not both at the same time. lol).
I have this exact TV and I love it. It's great for the phosphors and the resolution. My only downside is I cannot figure out a way to get an HDMI to component converter that works with it, I've tried out two so far, and it's just no good. Have you tried any that worked?
I want one. I have a 20" panasonic, but as my desire for crt deepens, i really want something with at least s video but preferably component (so sad to think that we threw these away). Anyway, my search hasn't been fruitful. I either find people wanting $300÷ or they're free and gone within seconds. Gone are the days of finding these things laying on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, people know they're valuable now, lol.
whenever I go to program a universal remote, almost all of them have a "quick code select" that has 10 brands that never changed their remote codes and samsung is one of them.
There's just something about a friendly guy with an amogus profile pic reviewing an old CRT that really gets me goin
>:) Sus CRT

Very thorough video, thank you! I just picked up this exact model today locally for just $25. It's a beautiful set.
looks very nice and clean. so flat
Looks perfect. Just as good as an XBR

@@P-0-Seventeen yeah bad convergence creates a “fuzzy” look. No doubt

I have the same model and have some deflection issues. Would you happen to know your deflection settings, from the service menu? Thanks in advance!
I have multiple Samsung TVs in the same room & them all having the same infrared frequency is actually a PITA sometimes.
it's true about the weight. It's very light compared to other TV's the same size
Most of the tvs iv see in Uk only have scart is it posble to get an adapter for components to scart
I have a 27 inch Dynaflat with some deflection issues. I was wondering if you know optimal values in the service menu? Thanks in advance!

What are your deflection settings for this TV?

Probably gonna do that lol >:)

I picked up one of these yesterday afternoon, any chance you have a service manual for this model? Thanks,
Love your channel!
Hi have you got any advice on the Samsung WS-32MO64V Plano crt tvs

Nice my dear
I have an rgbs (with yellow) cable for the snes ... How to plug it with this tv ? The r g b in y pb pr and the sync?
Unfortunately that's impossible, since this set doesn't take RGBS. Only component/svideo/composite can work
@@P-0-Seventeen so how did you hooked up your snes by component ?
@@ROX99 I didn't, it was through s-video
@@P-0-Seventeen so no way to run rgb in this crt ?
HD Retrovision cables will give you crisp RGB but you're going to pay.
I have this TV and it seems to not like component video, i get a scrambled, rolling image. Any idea what could be causing that?
Is your video source 480p? Most consumer sets, this TV included, aren't compatible; they only go up to 480i.
@@jordan9610 it turns out I'm a colorblind nincompoop who accidentally plugged blue into green and green into blue lol
Please help how do I access the input on the side?
Should be A/V one or two

That's good lmao
What's the model number of the other Samsung CRT on the left?
If it's the wide CRT then it's a Samsung TX-R2678WH, i'll be making a vid on it too.
@@P-0-Seventeen yup, the widescreen one. By any chance, is that an ELMO CRT TV?
@@someonedab7222 LMAO yeah that's an Elmo video monitor
