I own a 2024 RX 500 it's an absolutely wonderful car in all aspects. I had before a 2023 RX 350 and I upgraded to a RX 500. The RX 500 is all I need and was looking for. You got real performance with highly confortable ride. The look is gorgeous it's an amazing car. I prefer it over my previous Porsche Macan GTS. The only "little" downside for people living where we have snow like here in Canada is cause by the bottom of the front doors that go below the floor of the car. All new generation RX are like that. We are talking about 4 inches that goes under the car here it's a lot. The snow get stuck in the inside so when you open the door you have a huge amount of dirty snow and ice that you see from the inside. Exact same look as around the tire and inside the aisles during winter time. It's absolutely ugly and that ice and dirty snow will stay there until you drive in rain or temperature get warmer or the car de ice. One way to help prevent this is to put some silicone in spray early in the season. I had been told that this concept is to get a better insonorisation and also it's for the look cause the doors look bigger. Im used to it but my wife hate it but she love the rest of the car. I have seen people at the dealer ship complaint about that. Now you know. The front doors of the TX are not like that they do not get below the floor of the car.
I understand, they do that so that the base of the vehicle stays clean so you don't get mud/snow on your pants when you get in and out of the vehicle. Perhaps it doesn't need to be as low. Thank you for the comment.

The bottom of the doors in the inside of the car got filled with snow and sand from the road. So we got 4 inches on the total length of the door. That is the section that goes under the floor. I had own many car and this the first time i saw something like this. The new TX are not like that. The door fit the high of the floor under the car. The RX the front doors goes 4 inches deeper. Many people complain about this at my dealership. I know Lexus had been inform. It's the only drawback for me of the car. I will not be surprise when they will do a facelift of that generation that they change that.
Got a 24 for a loaner and I must say it is a nice looking RX 500H that got good power in it. Don’t compare this to a high performance sports car. That’s not what it made for. Coming from a 21 RX 350 f sport which it got plenty of power for me since I’m not racing anyone. Remember there will be someone else faster.

I’m not a fan of the “luxury” Japanese brands specially Lexus cause it has a strong Toyota presence in any car they make,now i really thought the Germans were the only ones taking the route of smaller engines with electric turbos and all kind of crazy tech but im stunned by Toyota with a 2.4l engine with Turbo and a electric motor as well!!! What they don’t understand the long term ownership this cars are a complete no no!!!!! This is the problem of carmakers around the world…… they are making whatever they want and not what we want and like!!!! And even with the turbo and the electric motor the car is 5.9 seconds? What a slow car!!!

0-60 in 5.9 seconds or 5.5 which some people get, isn’t slow for a Lexus RX. The reason Lexuses are so good is *because* they’re built by Toyota. Lexus has been putting turbo 4s in RXs for about a decade now, it’s just that they’re new to North America.
Bro I hate to be negative but this was not a good “review” I don’t need anyone to tell me what the USB ports, etc…I rather learn more about the performance, which is so disappointing to see Lexus not having much on this segment. And lots of heavy breathing like you rushed to do this….The color is very nice, but at this price this RX is very disappointing! I think I will be switching to Porsche where I can get the performance, luxury, and thrill of driving, and also the reliability which from what I have seen is not bad, and for 80k I could get into a Macan GTS with no upgrades which is still way nicer than this RX. Lexus needs to step it up and make their top RX a true performance car with a V8 or a V6 TT. I currently own 2 LS430 but I don’t think I will be buying another Lexus soon…

Lexus vehicles other than the LX, GX and LS feel like a Camry inside…they should let customers custom build some of their vehicles and at least put a V6 in the RX! Yes the Macan GTS breaks are expensive, but it’s a way nicer vehicle to drive!

Nice car, but nothing really new and useful from 10 years ago. People get excited about all the information on the screen, but I don’t understand why I need to know how the power is sent to wheels?
What a joke! Almost $80K? for 5.9 sec 0-60 and 27/28 city/highway mpg. Those numbers don't make sense. A hybrid that doesn't save and doesn't go.. lol Get a '22 BMW X4, for instance, for half of that price, get very close gas mileage, if not better(highway), and much better handling. And yes, that BMW B48/58 is exceptionally reliable (built with Toyota, btw), so please won't bring up that Toyota-reliability argument when Toyota literally robs you using that very same argument, selling you outdated and overpriced cars. Lexus, you must do better at that price point! Cheers, folks!
