Thanks! Cobble Hill has been so great, and I do enjoy their puzzle images! I will get back to making more technique videos after World's. Right now my time is devoted to as much practice as possible!
Thank you! I'm a bit of an introvert, so the T shirt was also a nice way to initiate conversations with puzzlers that I knew from online and wanted to chat with more in person. I plan to cover as much as I can of this year's competition as well!
I guess it's always the dilemma of do I sort or just plunge in? An obvious colour block jigsaw would be a sorter but busy puzzles are harder to do that with. Do the outside first or leave to last? To some degree the image will dictate how you decide to do the puzzle. It's also knowing when to move on to another section because you have got stuck with the one you started with. I shall be glued to my computer when Worlds starts in September and looking for faces I recognise from TH-cam.
Surprisingly, I have personally found it faster to not sort for large color blocks, because I can just grab and assemble. Sorting helps me when the pieces are an overwhelming jumble with no clear separations. But yes, it takes some wisdom to know when to move on, since you have to consider if starting a new area is faster than just finishing what you're already halfway through! Thank you for watching! World's will be amazing, and I'm looking forward to sharing everything online.
Good luck!! Happy to hear that Cobble Hill is sponsoring your team! Love CH!
Great video-fun to watch and learn your technique.

I loved your commentary while doing the puzzle, gave me lots to think about!
Thank you! I feel it's a good way for me have more directed and effective practice time. Hopefully it's helpful to you too!
I saw you on the puzzle robot video with Mark Rober. Glad to find your channel 😊
Thank you for joining me! I welcome your feedback and comments!
Sound is too quiet. Volume must be increased.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm still teaching myself how to improve, and I will have a new mike for the next video!
