They almost had one. On Comedy Central. Long story, but basically they chose SNL, and one of the members of their sketch group, the only one that failed the audition for SNL, Nick, got fucked. Cuz he lost the Comedy Central gig and SNL.
Why the downvotes? This was some of the most hilariously dry parodying SNL has done. The milkshake stain that spreads to 30 times the surface area in the next scene, Skylar stopping the swinging door, the out-of-time-period transition, Skylar not understading what "chemical compound" means, the fact that Dougie doesn't act much differently after he gets a new outfit, the terrible and unsubtle writing, the really contrived emotional scene, the startlingly abrupt ending, etc. It's perfect. "I've had a lot to drink. I'll drive my car out to get some more" "Ok"

It's the subtle things that make the sketch so good. Like the way he bumps into him walking past to pull the lever or the way Ryan gosling hesitates before opening the door.
I have a theory that it's intentional so that they all go to TH-cam, where both Kyle and Beck first started uploading their sketches, because it's the best place adapted for their work

The set from Family Matters is very similar to Full House and Step by Step. Also, why do they all have two sets of staircases that go to the same floor? One in the living room and one in the kitchen.
Kyle's weird turn so he didn't turn away from the "live studio audience" while he was walking back to the table for that dance killed me. That's some brilliant subtlety.
Totally grew up watching them. These just get old really fast. This set is a nod to the Full House living room, the set with Chris Pratt's episode is a nod to Joey and Chandler's apt in Friends. I'd rather watch those than these parodies.

Everything in this is so good. Bobby's deliberately terrible reading of "He was drunk driving," the line dance, the way Beck says "Oh yeah, because you only care about being COOL." And Beck is at peak hotness here.

I wouldn't exaggerate, SNL is very low down the chain of global comedy, its gassed up in America. Just not much substance to it, I'll give you this one was pretty good.
Dugé is a reinterpretation of Stefán Urquelle from the Family Matters sitcom. Stefán was a powerful character to many 90s adolescents, so a nostalgia component is definitely at play here. This sketch highlights the manufactured, undue hype surrounding Stefán and the artificiality of TV in general. I wouldn't exaggerate, SNL is very low down the chain of global comedy, its gassed up in America. Just not much substance to it, I'll give you this one was pretty good.
"Cut for Time" is the reason why shows like I Think You Should Leave are so much funnier than whatever is "kept for time"

Dugé is a reinterpretation of Stefán Urquelle from the Family Matters sitcom. Stefán was a powerful character to many 90s adolescents, so a nostalgia component is definitely at play here. This sketch highlights the manufactured, undue hype surrounding Stefán and the artificiality of TV in general.
