@@dilancastillo4690 actually, a chain takes 6-8 days to rust under water. Even if those chains are a special eggman metal, it would probably at best take a month to rust. When you panic, minutes feel like hours. That is probably why sonic feels like it has been years.
eggman doesn't really wanna kill sonic he wants kinda him around but at the same time he doesnt he shows this a lot but there are moments where you can see it. edit: just because he wants sonic around the time doesnt mean he wouldnt be up for killing him
What terrifies me about drowning is the agony. The anxiety. The tension. Running out of oxygen makes your adrenaline go crazy, and in most safe cases you can just swim up. But when you're trapped? You struggle so much to try and break free, and each second you're running out of oxygen, feeling more and more suffocated. It's unbearable. You're running out of time. And if you're unlucky enough... It's over. Just like that. I wonder if it hurts.
It absolutely hurts like hell. It's almost like a choking pain, except you can't cough. As an example for the adrenaline; Delirium and Hush from the Binding of Isaac. The frantic movements the boss makes and pure chaos of it is essentially what your brain is doing. Pulling everything out of its catalogue for ways to continue living.
It gives me bigger chills to think of sink as a hero rather than a villain. After eventually escaping somehow, he swears to do everything in his power to make sure nobody shares the same fate as he did.
The thing I love about this is that it isn't scary. It doesn't try to jumpscare you. It fights against the stereotypes and gives you a new emotion. Sorrow.
A sink.exe game wouldn't really work as a game. It'd basically just be lab zone with a gif ending. While that is some exe games I don't think sink should receive that. Maybe if sink's story was tweaked to be more fleshed out but at the moment all we have is that he's trapped and wants to get out

As someone who almost drowned, I can relate, As it was quite intense, desperately struggling for the surface, feeling like you’re being dragged down, it’s enough to spook you.
I was 3 years old when it happened. I didn’t know what was happening but when I tried swimming and it didn’t work. My body just felt tired or gave up. I felt like closing my eyes and sleeping in there.
If this moment happened in Sonic 1, it's seemed like he never meet Tails, he never meet Amy and anyone, nobody even don't know him, he's alone, and this more creepy and sad.

Drowning.. man it really fucking sucks, the struggle, your legs moving and pushing hard as they can meanwhile well in my case i was able to see the sunlight trying to rush to the surface as my eyes started getting blurry and feel like my chest was about to explode in the rush of gasping for Air I just remember my legs stopped to kick the water and my hand rising to the light of the sunlight and just when i was about to pass out a good guy who saw me me rushed to save me by taking my hand and that moment lucky for me i was able to no breath underwater so i just took a big chunk of air and regaing enough strength to keep myself floating until getting carried to the shore

Heres a better story: an ACTUAL bug in the final zone that involves hitting robotnik twice has sometimes led to the hit-counter resetting to 255 which is impossible to beat. Even then, it’s still a childish sloppily put together horror story but something better could really be done. “Oh sonic sank because of an accident and won’t die because…uhhh determination?” What a dumb fucking story. Undertale did that theme years ago and sonic is a pretentious dick for not dying. He allows himself to be tortured when he could just kill himself and waste one of the many lives he has left. If none? Tough shit. The game resets. Is possibly years of torture worth not dying? I think it’s safe to say this exe influx we’ve been seeing recently is pretty sloppy and is written as if it was made on the spot. Zero theme, morals, or substance really. All edge and no meaning.

So I'm still wondering of this Sink lore.. knowing the game and its trap, how the heck Sonic's foot would get caught in one of the chains of the spike balls? Like, they just stay there or others just sway on their own pattern with its chain actually attached on the floor or walls.

Ok but the video is avoiding the question. How did it happen? What does “what happened,” come from? Response to what event? Quit playing the “unforeseen circumstances” card. Why? Why did he get a chain attached to his leg? They move in a fucking circle and if they hit you you either loose all your rings or if having none die. It’s literally a part of the game to make it harder. It’s an obstacle. People need to stop praising stupid low effort 2 sentence horror bullshit like this. Heres a better story: an ACTUAL bug in the final zone that involves hitting robotnik twice has sometimes led to the hit-counter resetting to 255 which is impossible to beat. Even then, it’s still a childish sloppily put together horror story but something better could really be done. “Oh sonic sank because of an accident and won’t die because…uhhh determination?” What a dumb fucking story. Undertale did that theme years ago and sonic is a pretentious dick for not dying. He allows himself to be tortured when he could just kill himself and waste one of the many lives he has left. If none? Tough shit. The game resets. Is possibly years of torture worth not dying? I think it’s safe to say this exe influx we’ve been seeing recently is pretty sloppy and is written as if it was made on the spot. Zero theme, morals, or substance really. All edge and no meaning.
