One of the best explanation, which I have see for tinnitus. As more as you fight against, the loudest will t be! The sooner you accept, the better will be recovery and noise will go down!
Thank you for your videos. I habituated to tinnitus in my right ear in 2022. Unfortunately, I got Covid in November 2023 and my tinnitus came back…its been a year already and it is still going on. It has raised my anxiety tremendously. Any suggestions?
Hey Patricia, Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience. I’m so sorry to hear that your tinnitus returned after Covid-it’s completely understandable that this has raised your anxiety. The good news is that habituation is possible again, even if it feels daunting right now. The key is to focus on reducing anxiety first, as it often amplifies the perception of tinnitus. Techniques like mindfulness, deep breathing, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help you create some distance between the sound and your emotional response. Remember, you’ve done it before, and you can do it again. Be patient and kind to yourself in this process. If you’d like further support, I’d be happy to help through coaching or with resources from MyTinnitusClub. You’re not alone, and there’s hope for better days ahead. Let me know if I can assist further! Warm regards, Frieder
