    I run the jl version of these springs and also air lift bags for when fully loaded. The system works great for when I have large amounts of fuel.

    Your video was very helpful as I have exactly the same problem. I’m leaning towards springs, but am also considering air bags (Airlift 1000) and enhanced bump stops (Sumo Springs). Not keen on the idea of air lines, potential leaks - springs seem like a more reliable solution. Planning to call a few of the big Jeep after market parts distributors for advice. I’ll keep you posted.
    Great channel. I just signed up. Love the alter ego idea - very creative. I’d give him an ongoing role in future videos!

    Re bowing. Looks fine to me but I have correction wedges from RK on my 4.5” springs
    You should look at airbags. They are cheap & easy to add PSI when loaded & then go back to stock when not.

    Just make sure you get the weights for your spring to put it back center as much as possible

    You may have figured this out by now but if the spring perch is tilted forward you should readjust the control arms to bring the pinion angle back into proper position and will level the perches. This should reduce/eliminate the bowed spring coil situation.

      Yep. I did. Haven't gotten around to it though. But the bowing seems to be more side to side vs back to front. I still need a sway bar for the front which I'm hope will correct that.

    Thanks for the great information. I'm planning to buy the ARB BP-51 2.5" kit for my upcoming 2023 JLUR. I asked ARB about their spring load ratings and they said the stated loads are for a pair of springs (front pair/rear pair). They also said to distribute any weight added to the middle of the vehicle about 50/50 between front and back (e.g rock rails, underbody protection - but a roof tent would probably be biased more towards the rear). I calculated that my planned upgrades (front bumper with winch/rear bumper with tire carrier + 37" spare, Rockslide power steps) will add about 190 lbs to the front and 170 lbs to the rear. ARB is recommending to go with the heavy load springs both front and back. I was worried that heavy springs could result in a stiffer than stock ride for daily driving, but the sagging issues reported make it clear that heavy duty springs are in order. The BP-51 kit offers only two options (light load 0-90lbs, or heavy load 90-195lbs). Crossing my fingers...

      Don't worry about the stiffer ride with the OME. It's a nice ride. You MAY get slight stiffness in ride but it will go away when that weight is added. TRUST ME lol. Better to start off with the heavy loaded springs first and deal with it until the weight is added vs having to reinstall new springs later when you start getting the sag

      In a perfect world (or if I EVER build a vehicle fr stock) I would get everything done and added THEN add springs after

      @@BaptismOverland That's exactly what I was thinking. Although I'd love to learn how to do DIY installations, it won't be possible in the near future, so a professional shop will do all the installations. I was first thinking of having 37" tires and the ARB suspension installed first and the heavy front/rear bumpers installed later. But the suspension geometry angles would then need further adjustment. It may be better to have the bumpers installed first and the suspension lift later - or perhaps having everything done at once would be even better? Otherwise putting heavy load on the stock suspension would perhaps require adjustments to get the stock geometry back - but stock control arms/trackbars are not adjustable unlike the ones that come with the ARB kit.

      @@tyurek man you sound like me!! Lol. Ok so. Personally (since a shop will do it and you want to minimize the amount of times you take it there), go ahead and get lift and tires but don't do geometry yet. I say that because you will do all of that then put the weight on and now geometry is screwed again. I would add all the stuff then you'll see just how off your geometry is. Because your geometry is gonna be off with the lift BUT once the weight goes on and the Jeep lowers, the geometry will sorta go back to where it was slightly.
      If you get all adjustable arms though, then you can adjust yourself as needed. Mine are not adjustable so I waited till the weight was on

      @@BaptismOverland I agree. Still learning the basics and the dynamics of suspension geometry. I think I understand how you can correct the caster with adjustable lower arms. But (at least on paper) it looks like if you keep the stock upper arms, the axles will be forced to move towards the center of the vehicle when lifted, hence resulting in a shorter wheelbase - not sure if how big or significant this shortening would be (if at all). But it sounds like adjustable upper arms (together with adjustable lowers) would be needed to push the axles back to their stock position. The ARB kits interestingly don't include adjustable uppers (only lowers and track bars), but ARB does sell adjustable uppers separately. Experienced folks might be cringing at my comments as all of my knowledge (or lack of) is theoretical - I don't even have my Jeep yet . Hopefully will be delivered next week. Then the real fun will begin :-).

    I have the Metal Cloak Game Changer 3.5/4.5 with adjustable control arms on my JK. My rear springs bowed A LOT and I was concerned. So I added Metal Cloak Rear Coil Spring Alignment Correction (part number 7187) and adjusted my control arms to change the angle of my axle a little bit. It's still within spec and the springs still bow a little, but not nearly as bad as before. Hope this helps. Also I don't know how you work with that camera man. I would fire him and hire someone different...

    How are they offroad? I am looking at my second set of rear springs due to sagging. I have a heavy 37 spare and also a Titan on the rear. That with tools, recovery gear and a lightweight aluminum rack. I don't overland, but I tow a travel trailer at max weight to and from the trails. I do use a weight distribution hitch when I tow with airbags but the airbags keep giving issues from full flex and articulation. I do a lot of rock crawling, so articulation and flex are key. When it isn't sagging, I am at about 5 inches of lift with a combo of springs and spacers. BTW, love the videos.

    I stumbled on this video and it made me really curious. I got a Rubicon Express 2.5" lift with progressive coil springs for my 2013 JKUR. They are SUPER soft and the rear end hits the bump stops a lot. I think it's time to try the EMU 2620s. Thanks! - I missed it in the video I guess, but what size tires were you running??

    Thank you for this video! 🙏🏻 How is the coil weight factor into the additional weight for accessories? For instance, if one were to get the OME Ski 2620 coil to the rear like you had, which is rated at 660lbs, does this mean that a user would had added between 301 and 660lbs to the rear in total? Or is that 660lbs for each rear corner (which sounds suspect)?
    I am running 35"s on stock fenders, JKUR, metal cloak 3.5" Game Changer and 6pak shocks. It has the dual rate coils which was awesome until I went full blown overland so my roof rack and accessories basically stay on except awning and privacy tent which are on quick disconnects. When the 6paks needed to be rebuilt, I swapped them for Falcon SP2 3.3's adjustable and find myself running mostly on the stiffest setting so upgrading to heavier coils seem to be in my planning next. Already using Airlift airbags.
    I sent ARB a message and hope Old Man Emu make coils for a 3" to 4" lift. I like that they have these weight ratings. Other brands just say 'heavy duty' or 'overlanding'.

      I think that's total. 600 on each corner is def suspect lol. If I'm not mistaken coils are usually rated as a pair as it would be odd for someone to just put one in one corner Haha but I can look into it. I never dug that deep to find out honestly.
      But yeah that's why I went with OME. They were more specific.
      Crazy the airbags aren't helping you. I have a company in AUS that's wanting me to install and review air bags. Im guessing it'll help me dial in the height when needed

      @@BaptismOverland I think my dual rate coil from the Game Changer suspension is drooped at the 'soft' side of the dual rate from the wright hence I got a bit of droop at the rear. It drives nice however.
      ARB got back to me and said they only make up to 2.25" coils so I may have to take a hit on the height or use a different brand and heavy duty coil. Another user in the forums said he had not seen a change in height after the same coils you used and he has the same 3.5" Game Changer suspension as me. That's promising. Have fun testing the new air bags from Australia. 🙏

    Have you experienced any lean ?
    After installing the OME super heavy duty coil springs (2620 rear and 2628 front) on my 2016 JKU it's now leaning passenger's side (approx 1 inch lower than driver's side)

      I have not no. Been great. My only issue is my front springs seem to curve in a bit (I heard it's normal but it bothers me) and my driver side tire toes out a bit and not sure why.

      Try checking full front alignement (car level should be a bit different from what it was with previous springs)

    I have dual coil over, Rubicon Express shocks with Ebach springs, and a nitrogen reservoir.
    These guys got me through the Rubicon a few years back, but now it feels like every single lane marker feels like I ran over a boulder at high speeds.
    How would I soften the ride at this point? It's truly unbearable. I'm flying around in my jeep just driving to work!

      Throw the whole Jeep away! Lol jk. I WILL say this…I used to have Eibachs a looong time ago on my 240sx back when that was a thing and I didn’t like it at all.
      What changes have you done to your Jeep since it’s been lifted?

      I WILL say that I can almost bet it’s not your shocks. Rubi Ex makes good products specifically for Jeeps. Is the reservoir still full? Maybe it has leaked? Eibach is also known but not sure how their Jeep applications hold up.

      @@BaptismOverland, since you installed the 2620 heavier duty spring in the rear, does your JK sit proper? I have a 2017 JKU Sport. I ordered the 2620 coils for the rear, and the 2629 diesel JK springs for the front. Do you remember if the front springs you ordered were for a diesel JK?

      @@Fred_Stallone It sits proper. But I also now have air suspension in the rear to fine tune it when I get all my cargo in. The front springs were not for the diesel, no.

      @@BaptismOverland, when I spoke to the dude at Mudify, he said, “in order to achieve a true 3” lift, I would need the ARB 2629 Diesel Front Coils, and ARB 2620 Rear Coils. I certainly hope my Jeep won’t be sitting higher from the front, since yours sits proper with ARB 2019 front coils. Mudify is in Florida, your neck of the woods… Have you heard of them? Are they a good outfit?

    Love your vids as always brotha. Question for you...i have 16 tundra and I tow a Bass boat and its about 2500lbs that's including a trailer. I currently have it on 3" front 1" back leveling kit. I did that on purpose so it can keep its factory positive rake so when I strap the hitch on the weight of the boat and trailer level out the truck.
    Will this heavy duty be just as good and will I have the same results? I looked at the OMU Heavy duties from your first video and I found those but you mentioned on this video there's different loads. I can't seem to find them for my tundra.

      Hey man! So the funny thing is I also didn't know mine existed until I spoke to OME themselves because you have to know the part numbers. I don't know if they have them for tundra but you might wanna call and see what is needed depending what kind of weight you're putting on

    Thank you for explaining the install! I am curious, how is the ride when the jeep is unloaded? Is it stiff? I have similar sagging problem when going on roadtrips and adding roughly extra 400 lb. My concern is that if I add the heavy duty springs, the ride will be nice when loaded, but super stiff unloaded. I appreciate the reply in advance!

      It's fine. I had the same concerns. But honestly with my permanent stuff already on the rig (RTT, bumpers, armor etc)...adding the cargo isn't that much more of a difference.

      I installed the 2620's in the back and now I'm sitting to high so went and change the fronts too for the counterpart the 2628's and i have a 2" difference.. frustrating.

      Been great! I even just put on an ARB bumper which is heavy and it's holding just fine. But also I got air suspension fr airbag man which, if I NEED TO, I can adjust the height

    Hey, thanks for the nice videos.
    Just a couple of months ago I installed the OME 2.25” kit with the light load springs ( 2617 ). Unfortunately, I am not too happy with the results. The ride is super nice, but I was hoping for a bit more lift.
    I do have the hard top, rock rails, and steel bumpers front and back. And the Jeep is kinda sagging. And that is without the 34” spare tire and the new rack that I need to buy for it.
    The light load was recommended to me even though my setup for the reason that the heavy load would be too high and stiff ride.
    Now I am thinking to redo the spring ( only two month after install ).
    Do you mind sharing what upgrades did you have before changing to the these extra heavy duty springs ( when you had the heavy duty installed)? And how much of a lift did you get, and was the ride stiff?

      See that's exactly what I was trying to avoid with mine. I put in a lift KNOWING what I would be doing to the Jeep later down the line. You're right...super nice ride. But when I got my lift I didn't have a bumper yet or a winch. All I had was rock sliders and a steel roof rack (which I switched out to a lighter one fr Front Runner). My ride was stiff for awhile, yes. But I knew it wouldn't stay that way for too long. Eventually got the front bumper and a Titan fuel tank on the tire carrier. Now it's all good.

      The lift I got when I first installed was HUGE lol. It was like 4"!! Then it settled around 3". Then it dropped to the true 2.5" once weight was added. Then the rear sagged with the addition of the RTT and the Titan fuel tank hence me getting these heavier duty ones

And sorry, I just remembered to check for your reply ( I assumed I will receive an email or some sort of notification when someone replies to my comment ). Anyway, I wish I had taken measurements before I installed the lift to know exactly how much lift I got. I think that for now, I will switch only the rear springs for the heavy load 2618 ( right now I got the 2617 ) which hopefully will give me the missing inch or inch and a half. I don't think I want to go with the 2620 springs right now. That would be too much for my setup.
      BTW, ( and please correct me if I am mistaken ) I think you got a bit of a mix-up with the springs part numbers in the video.
      - The springs 2616 are the light load for the front. 2617 are the light load springs for the rear.
      - The springs 2619 are the heavy load for the front ( 2618 are the heavy load for the rear ).
      I think that the light load lift kit usually comes with 2616 for the front and 2617 for the rear. and the heavy load kit comes with 2619 for the front and 2618 for the rear.
      So I think that you were correct in the video where you mentioned that your kit originally came with 2618 for the rear. And then the 2619 springs also came with your kit but for the front.
      Again, I might be mistaken, but that's what I got after researching new springs.

      @@eyalfitoussi you could be right in that they gave 2619 for the fronts to carry the load of winch bumpers. I've honestly forgotten what it said on the boxes now when I got the kit. But I DID get the 2619 for the rears to off set the sag I got after adding more weight.

      Turns out the bowing is from the stock track bar that's why it's bowing in one direction. Once I get track bars it should center the axles again and get it straight but so far haven't had any issues driving like this

      I do long adventures in Death Valley and the Sierras with loads of gear. Nothing to crazy but I broke 2 sets of Pro Comp springs before buying OME. They were loads better, but still not heavy duty enough...

      I personally wouldn't do it or your rear would be jacked up when not loaded. The majority of my weight stays on vehicle (we are talking roof rack and tent and soon a steel rear bumper) so this balances that. It will droop just slightly when I add cargo

    Hey what kind of rims are those. Do you know what that "style" of rim is called? I dont need the exact manufacturer I just love that exact style.

      These are what we call "steelies". Steel wheels vs alloys. Pros and cons with them. Super cheap but they'll def be heavier than alloys. The ones I have are fr Mammoth. Just look up mammoth steel wheels
