While exploring TH-cam tonight I came across this. I had never heard of this group. What a stellar work. Wow! This song lifted my spirits at the exact moment I needed uplifting. It's been a tough year and a half for all of us. And for me, the past few weeks has been especially trying and exhausting. So, I discovered this song, this group and I'm so grateful I did. The lead guitarist solos with two fingers, just as Django had to do because of his disability. Captures the exaggerated swing and intensity of Django's playing! I never would expect a modern player to do this.

My wife and I saw them on 11/6/2018 at Le Quecumber. Irene has a fantastic voice, smooth and silky. They played some Gypsy Jazz and Jazz standards and were very much enjoyed by all those there. I will definitely see them again.

Jobim would be proud to see your treatment.I have loved Bossa Nova since it was first released in the early 1960's in the USA. It was the first year of my marriage (now we are at 57 years) and was so wonderfully engaging then. Love to see you do the full Jobim songbook (and Michele Legrand also). and be able to access it on Amazon music. Been listening to jazz since the 1940's as a child. Love female jazz singers all the way from Ella, Sarah Vaughn, Carmen MacRae, Diana Krall and many more. Your voice has a subtle smoky quality that matches the jazz women I love. My wife and I saw them on 11/6/2018 at Le Quecumber. Irene has a fantastic voice, smooth and silky. They played some Gypsy Jazz and Jazz standards and were very much enjoyed by all those there. I will definitely see them again.
