Really cool to see how you do it! I produce the same effect by scissoring upper left corner between my index and middle finger. I then keep my wrist completely still and just extend the two fingers really quickly. This sends the card flying out with a lot of spin, producing the boomerang effect. Now, one thing I've started doing is trying to get the card as high as possible, and then trying to catch it. I wonder how high you can go, Rick?
Yeah I also use a much better method I think is called flick or fliq taught by Dan and Dave somewhere. Where you clip the card between your index and thumb then you flick it with your index

The spin comes from the flick of his wrist. Flicking it harder, while decreasing accuracy, should increase the spin! :D
