Rick Smith, Jr. I use paper cards made in China. I'm throwing them at styrofoam and I'm not able to stick the cards onto the target. Should I learn how to throw them harder or is it the cards? My cards look a little different than your cards mainly on the back. Some reason I feel like I'm not throwing hard enough. Any tips?

Hey Rick, I noticed that you actually read your comments, unsure if you will notice this one, but if you do I'd like to thank you for getting me into card throwing because if I didn't see you on dude perfect I honestly never would have put in the countless hours that I have to become a card thrower. Also thanks for your videos have helped me greatly, especially your performance with josh horton (th-cam.com/video/a2jEY9fUPos/w-d-xo.html) I was able to slow the video right down and watch on repeat the specific way you move your arm and the way your wrist snaps out paired with the sharp sudden pullback for maximum spin on the card, every week I sort of change or refine one thing about my throw that gives it a tiny bit more power. I have visited other magicians channels such as nick suriano, however I think I may prefer your style of arm movement over nicks. I know that there are probably hundreds if not thousands of people like me who were inspired by your videos, with fear of sounding clingy, you've given me something that I am proud to be able to do after putting in the hours and I hope one day I can possess the accuracy that you hold with your card throwing. Thomas Abbotts just in Britain presumably. For 70p they're fine to throw but i find them too light to stick consistently into target (celotex insulation board). Plus they look crap.

José Terán banshees are no good to play with so chrome kings or bicycles. I'd say bicycles as I got a pack of chrome kings but can't bring myself to throw them, keeping them for cardistry.
