Ahhh Karen xxx I know you miss the shop your bound too, it was gorgeous mind, fair play. But as you say, so many shops and businesses now are going to the wall. Im so glad though that the other mainline side of the business has taken off for you and thriving, not striving. Ive worked in the industry for 27yrs making soaps and products for other people/companies, but I'm now biting the bullet and opening my own studio here in Cornwall .. BUT .. its in the grounds of my house here, if it had been in Bude town where I live, I couldnt have afforded it or even considered this risky venture. But this particular video of yours was one of the first ever I came across on youtube for soap making, and it was YOU that inspired me to do this, so a big "THANK YOU" to Edens Secret for my change of direction. I love you lots Karen, and all the best for next year Muuuahh xxx

I very much admire not only your fabulous products but your practical business knowledge and philosophies. So many today shop online. I do. I prefer to shop online. You don't have to do all that walking or driving around using up gas. My time is valuable. And you have every bit as good a selection of items online as well. You can shop at your leisure online.... in your pajamas if you want. Perhaps what you can do is allow folks to drop by your home to place orders, if they live nearby... but I'll bet most your orders are out of the country or out of your area. Much online success to you.
I've just realised you live in Keswick which I've visited a number of times, I love the Derwent Pencil Museum with the giant pencil! :-) I live in a little village called Whalley, which is near Clitheroe, I don't know if you've heard of it, but anyway it's nice knowing someone who makes soap locally! Your shop looked lovely, hope business is going well for you x :-)

Shopping habits have changed , online retail is it . I was a newsagent until I decided to sell because the cost of running the business , staff , legislations , tax , vat . Long long hours , no pay , no rest also destroyed my family life . Now , I make soaps and sell online around the world . Hope your business is thriving without the shop x
