Packaging is really important for a business and you've nailed it. It's beautiful which makes the products even more desirable. One thing I might mention in case you want to try it is that people make cellophane bags which might be a bit easier and or quicker.

Wow Karen, I have never watched some one wrapping & packing an order! Gosh there is soo much work involved, it absolutely shocked me the time & effort! I think too because your Products are so beautiful to the eye, people can still see just how beautiful they are through the wrapping! I have no idea how you can sell them so reasonably priced, with all the hard work you put into them! Karen have you ever timed what it actually takes from the time you scoop your oil's, making, cleaning up, cutting, makingLabels, applying Labels, wrapping, paper work & packing to ship, then Labeling that! The list goes on truly you work so hard & everything matches in colours! You definitely have a signature all of your own! Everything is stunning I have no idea how you do it all on your own & you don't have any fancy machinery to make it easier! No wonder you are tired, between your Business, your extension of the house & looking after a family! Wow I know when I was working & we were building our home ourselves, we were just completely exhausted, it felt never ending there was so much more than we had thought of! Is there anyway you could have a break! When you were talking about paying someone to wrap everything, even with timing yourself I don't think anyone would be nearly as fast as yourself because it's not there business to have the passion you have & I can see every minute counts! Sorry it's long I'm just in shock, people just tend to think of the Products & how beautiful they are, not all the other hard work involved to get it to your Customers!

You are more than Welcome Karen :) just Beautiful Seriously, you can see your eye for Detail & that's what make's your Products Leap out at you! Seriously I watched it all & knowing what effort & quality of Products\Oils & so on, I'm still baffled how on earth you offer them so reasonably priced! Well put it this way Karen I went into one of our high end Stores here in Aussie, one bar of Soap, sort of wrapped like your new one's! 29.99 & no I'm not exaggerating it was a big long thick bar only one colour, did smell lovely but wow there selling point was because it was all Natural, nothing special like your's, just a big chunky block of Soap in some really nice wrapping! I have watched your Videos for a few years now & a lot of them at least twice, it fascinates me your eye for Detail & really really hard work to be unique! Cheers Trace :)
Not to many soapers share their ideas or recipes as royalty soap female mentioned you as being the one that helped her when she first started without hesitation. Your products are outstanding and I want to personally thank you as I just started soaping last year I don’t sell just as a hobby and for my family I do follow you your very inspiring and creative thank you

Yeah - lots of time required.
Just wondered about the labeling of the soap bars and cupcakes. INCI names and allergens, at least in the EU obligatory.
I noticed you mentioning an information label on the cake slices box and saw the jars with the labels.
If fancy packaging is not required, I'd rather shrink-wrap; it's a good protection too when items need to be in the mail.

Your soaps are gorgeous. I would not want to use them, I'd want to display them. And the packaging, I love it too. I love seeing and making a pretty package. I'd add the pound it costs to wrap to the price of the soap. People who buy beautiful soaps surely would not balk at paying an extra pound?? I may be wrong but I think people who buy these beauties are after an indulgence and the extra cost for beautiful packaging is part of the indulgence.
Never say "its too beautiful i dont want to use them " to a soap maker

Allot of work!! lol You and your products are simply amazing and sy and colorful. I just love them..u really are good. So professional and they look like candy that u can eat! I bet they smell so good!! Do u share recipes and where u buy everything? I esld love to buy your silicone molds. I am going ser a few of ur lotion bars and pretty soaps!!! I know your video is quite old now but I was wondering if pulling up the back and front corners (diamond shape) and then bringing the sides up on the cellophane would be easier. I know exactly what you mean about having that feeling of low energy. I feel the same sometimes and blame hormones

I'm a new soaper soon to open my own co on Facebook under the name Mermadia soaps & candles. I have been testing for several years. I started out doing wax under another name. ( just a little background info on myself). I have been watching your videos for a long time. I adore your creations & love watching your videos. I'm commenting this morning because I had a suggestion for you. I noticed you took a pair of scissors to part of your label & cut by hand. Do you know about those paper cutters? Might help on time factor. I love the bead through the ribbon & your new labels!

Funny thing: I was thinking that wrapping is a pain - especially if you are busy but at the same time its also very satisfying to see your product all buttoned up and bowed. Its almost 11 pm and I am still working on a massive batch of potatoe salad for my grandbabies 1st birthday party tomorrow. His gift will get ribbons and balloons.
Yep, I agree, I do find it therapeutic, but when time is very short and every second counts, you need a system that is stylish but fast. xx
Hi there can you wrap your cold process soap in cellophane as I was taught to wrap it in waxed paper. I agree it looks nicer if you can actually see the soap.
Was wondering if you could tell me what size cello sheets you use. I use bags now but I don't mind the work. Really love the sheet method.

I was wondering if you could Tell me what kind of plastic Sheets that you are wrapping your Soaps in period I've seen them before but I haven't seen them in stores or anything.
