Take down the post game with this team, capturing all the legendaries and stuff, but while doing that capture some new shinies so at the end of the video you have a completely new shiny team
that would be hype. Might just start working on that today lol

There was a better place to shiny hunt for Growlithe. By where you accept the Aipom quest there is a shallow cliff incline that you can hop up with Wyrdeer. Follow the top of the cliff and there is a spot with three Growlithe in close proximity. Growlithe are the only Pokémon that can spawn in this spot and respawn pretty quickly and you can farm 'em pretty fast, especially if you battle them to get more data for their entries most often they will respawn between battles.

I’m surprised that people don’t know a lot about the place where you can get guaranteed Growlith. I came across it on accident, but you can get 6 growlith, three at a time. It’s near the sometimes-growlith spawn area. Climb up the hill, and then climb up the little section that’s raised and boom, three growlith
So one of them shiny “only” (if you can’t be bothered with using them from the start) runs

you didn’t only use only shinies, you used a bunch of different pokémon
no he did not, storyline parts he only used shinies on, you can obvi use other pokemon to get a shiny
Fun Fact : You don't have to send out pokemon when fighting the noble pokemon you can just countinue to quell them.

I'm 40h into the game and already found 2 full odds Shiny Ghastly, a full odds Shiny Beautifly, a mass outbreak Shiny Geodude and a Shiny Luxio from a Distortion. Finding Shinies in this game is amazing! :D
I love shiny hunting in this game.there are actually enjoyable ways and it's worth it for the increadible looking shinies in this game

Just in case you didn’t know you can save before catching/battling a shiny and if you fail you just close the game and start it and the shiny will still be there
Have to add one thing tho. When the shiny spawns, be sure to walk away from it to the point that it isn’t on screen anymore. It will spawn again when you approach its location so don’t worry about losing it. I made the mistake of saving with the shiny Pokémon in screen, and they weren’t there anymore after the resets.

I always safe with the shiny on Screen and it never disappeared.

I think it’s awesome that you did a complete team of new variants and evolutions instead of just in general. Also Beni being a ninja wasn’t needed. It didn’t make too much sense. But oh my gosh it’s my favorite twist in any Pokémon game.

@@list9289 not like this guy said that in the beginning of the video. I made the mistake of replying under someone elses comment before I watched the whole thing, so I'm not sure if you did the same thing, but clearly, there are some ways he can get around the shiny locked starters.
@@list9289 but after that he started catching non shinys and battled the pikachu with a non shiny ^^ so starters aside the run was not shiny only at all

I was watching this while outbreak reseting for pichu because I cant find it in the wild for my pokedex and I see a gastly outbreak. I love shiny gastly, so I decided to go and look at the first 4 just in case and by some miracle I get the shiny. Just though that was nice considering the video
Quick update, on a rewatch I found a shiny starly first try and just now a shiny alpha magby first try
Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure that you have to catch a Pokemon at least once before a mass outbreak of it can spawn.
@@DesiredSky I think so too but I did find 1 pichu at the start of my adventure just want to complete the dex entry now as it's the only pokemon in the fieldlands section of the dex I havent completed yet. Thanks for the heads up tho

There's 2 spots where Zorua can be found. The main underground part, and after you leave out of the left hole, keep going left an north a little, and there's another hole. In there will be a Bergmite, a Misdrevous and a Zorua/Zoroak

I was cracking up when cylene (Cyrus ancestor) was scared of a WURMPLE! Hah
Switching between the only 2 Zorua spawns is a literal nightmare.
Getting one or two Zoroark that way is nice too, but the chance is pretty low.

so, I know this is old, but for anyone who maybe doesn't know still there's actually two spots where Zorua spawn in the icelands! one is in that first big underground that has the ice stone for glaceon evolution, and then I believe it's the west-most exist (toward the avalugg arena) that, if you fly straight out of it and past a stantler there's another hole in the ground surrounded by a mostly flat circle of land and that hole just has one little room with the 2nd zorua! sucks that there's only two spawn spots for a single zorua (or sometimes alpha zoroark) outside of outbreaks, but still better than one!
That’s so weird I found a shiny Glameow in the exact same area when looking for a Hisuian Growlithe 😂

One thing that actually annoyed me a lot was that you did not proceed to save when encountering a shiny. It hurt me so much to see one run away when you could’ve easily prevented it by clicking save 😭
Also basculin actually turns into a ghost because he becomes possessed by the spirits of its fellow salmon friends who could not survive the trip back to the spawn pool :(

I got a shiny Ponyta before the Shiny Ponyta quest, so now I have two. Then the Alpha Luxio by Floaro Gardens spawned shiny, so now I have two shiny Ponyta and a shiny alpha Luxray.

I was trying to hunt for alphas of all the new hisuian pokemon and Growlithe nearly drove me mad. Also ended up finding a shiny Rufflet during that and I love him.

In my first 30 minutes of playtime there was this fat shiny bidoof, just chillin with the peasant bidoofs. I called him Jesus.
by the way, if you go to the A of StAnd in windbreak stand, you can climb up the mountain to find a few growlithe early on, and there's usually more, you only need wyrdeer to get up there :)

Did you do anything to help reset spawns in order to find a shiny? I want to hunt some shiny Pokémon like this but not sure if I’m doing things right.
The best method I’ve found is outbreak hunting.
1) find an outbreak you want and travel to the land it’s in
2) save as soon as you spawn in (turn automatic saving off)
3) go to the outbreak and catch all the Pokémon
4) if it’s not shiny reset the game
5) you should load in from your last spawn, from there go back to jubilife, go back to the land with the outbreak, and save at the camp you spawn at again
- this method locks out the outbreak spawns that aren’t shiny and also Maximizes your chances of seeing one
- if you reset and go back to jubilife and the outbreak is gone just reset again
I’ve gotten a ton of shinies this way I highly recommend
Dude as I’m watching this video i was grinding on a braviary outbreak, and wasn’t feeling lucky at all and then as soon as it was at the last battles black feather boi appeared
I found a shiny bidoof after completing the tutorial, literally the first pokemon I seen after coming back to the wild area
It is not "only shiny" when you use normal pokemon to level the pokedex entries before starting to go for shinies...
Hopefully he didn't use other pokemon, but I'd say it's pretty fair if he only used his starter which is shiny locked. But in which case, I definitely think it would've been better if he just straight up went to find a shiny right off the bat to use for battling.
