How fun. I was born in Monterey, grew up in Marina and worked in Monterey for the City of Monterey for 15 years. I loved it. I moved away 20 years ago. Great memories. Crazy thing is I had a friend who built a house in Pacific Grove on the Coast for 80,000. I would imagine it's several million now. Thank you for the memories, it's been a while since I have been home.
I know that camp ground, being a Monterey native myself. My favorite campsite is #22. There are also a few sweet hiking trails attached to that campground on Huckleberry Hill. I hope you and Luna got a chance to explore them during your stay. So happy to see you here in Monterey :). I've really enjoyed watching your videos and appreciate your adventurous spirit. On a recent road trip i stopped at one of your free camping suggestions and had a fabulous time. I appreciate you sharing your adventures as it helps me have the courage and smarts to get out there more and explore. Wishing you and Luna the very best!

Little over 60 years ago, lived on English Av. Our house was replaced by the 402B Hwy 1 off-ramp. Next door neighbor's house still looks okay and is occupied. Monterey remains a favorite summertime escape.

Oh wow - this brought back such great memories of my last trip out to the west coast as well as my Sophie girl who loved playing in the waves. She was a little red terrier who would race up and down the beach chasing the waves. Catching up on your videos. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Aww, Luna really enjoys the beach. I was so pleased to find out this weekend that my little beagle likes it, too. So, I'm looking forward to a camping trip to the OBX with her soon. ( I hope)

That school is DLI (Defense Language Institute) on the Presidio of Monterey. I met my husband there when we were stationed there back in the late 90s. Haven't been back since but have always wanted to - loved seeing it in your video, thank you!
So excited I was able to see this part of the coast again. Oh, the trees and Spanish moss and the unforgettable sea smell. Miss not living near there. Gosh, it's been 35 years!! Thanks so much for reminding me of really great memories ❤
I had a camp spot reserved at Kirk Creek that got canceled so I feel your pain. I can't quite take off at a moments notice but found a spot at Henry Cowell for one night and that was nice. We even managed to get there the last night they were allowing campfires for a bit of time. :) What campground did you stay at in Monterey? Looks like a nice, safe spot.
Nice! Henry Cowell was booked when I was nearby, but we did get to stop there for a quick visit. Love the redwoods 🌲❤️ Glad it worked out for you. Hope you get a spot at Kirk Creek again soon!
Hi I've been following you a couple of times and today I see you in Monterey CA enjoyed your walking around town I enjoy my 3 Littles too great area Do you have any suggestions on whare to stay can't wait to see the ocean for a change. I'm traveling in my Van so I don't need no hotel motel lol I didn't catch which camp site you stayed. So you can ride your bikes in there that's reasonable price you got bathrooms thanks for sharing your travels..

Great video! My favorite thing to do in the monterey bay area is to take a whale watching cruise. I've done it 5-6 times and always love it.

One of my very biggest pet peeve’s is dog owners to let their dogs be off leash. It’s so inappropriate and inconsiderate.
