It's bias to just use real estate investors as the scapegoat to "a major reason why the real estate market is the way that it is now".
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

I hope that you are aware that Express Entry has changed. It favors prioritized occupations and French language proficiency for PR. If you work in one of the prioritized occupation, you qualify for lower CRS cutoff score for PR (such as 463). If not, then you need high CRS score. In the last two all-program Express Entry draws, CRS cutoff scores were 511 and 505. Another option is to look for a province with easier PNP.

After completing MBA, if you can find a job as a manager, then it is good. Manager is TEER 0 occupation. It should boost your CRS score. Manager is not one of 82 prioritized occupations by IRCC in 2023. You will need high CRS score or PNP for ITA. In the last two all-program Express Entry draws, CRS cutoff scores were 511 and 505. Ontario PNP (OINP) is hard. Other provinces have easier PNP.

Jun 28, 500 from Health with CRS cutoff 476; Jul 5, 500 from STEM with CRS cutoff 486; Jul 6, 1500 from Health with CRS cutoff 463; Jul 7, 2300 from French with CRS cutoff 439; Jul 12, 3800 from French with CRS cutoff 375.
If you are not in the 82 prioritized occupations list, then you have to rely on "all program" EE draw or PNP. In the last two "all program" EE draws, CRS cutoff scores were 511 and 505. You are not going to achieve this kind of high score without the help of PNP, LMIA, or French.

If your studies lead you to one of 82 prioritized occupations, then it is okay to study in Ontario. If you are NOT in the prioritized occupations list, then you will need PNP for ITA.
