- Today I am showing you how to Harvest lisianthus Flowers! I had someone as my in Nicole @Flower Hill Farm s ' "Grow Along" group, & it was easier to just do a quick video!
I owe all my success of growing Lisianthus to Nicole- if it wasn't for her I wouldn't even know about Lisianthus!

Your lisanthus are so beautiful! You had some great tips on harvesting. You explained it better than anyone I've ever heard. It's so nerve wracking harvesting for the first time- you don't want to harvest too early or too late & they not last as long in the vase or not open up- especially after growing them for SOOOO long!

@@Aimerla Awww that's awesome! That's my goal with my channel- is to encourage & show people it's not that hard! Especially lisianthus- so many people dont grow them because theyre too hard. I use hortanova netting & 4 wooden stakes that are about 4 ft. You can also use t posts.
Oh those purple and white lisianthus are so stunning! What are those called? I'm sorry you're not selling your bouquets well! I how it gets better!

Can you save the seeds ?
Yes! I havr a video on saving yye seeds! However, I can't say with 100% certainty whether or not tue seeds came true to color. I did label them, but then I didnt go back at the time of them blooming to see if they bloomed the color they were supposed to.. 🤦♀️
How did you get your lisianthus seeds
I buy them fro.Swallowtail Seeds, Johnny's Seeds, & Geo Seeds! I also harvest/save seeds from my lisianthus that I have grown. I have videos on that if you'd like to check them out!
