On way too many rewatches I noticed a sweet detail in the door running scenes. The first one is from a low pov of the shorter character, the second one is from a much higher pov from the taller character, then the final running scene is a middle ground between the POVs almost as if to show that they are both running together.

Always overjoyed to see peoples' TADC-OCs. The pilot makes it clear that the group we're following is very, very far from the first inhabitants of the show, and that people have been abstracting and being shoved into the basement for a long time. So they're all basically canon, and really fun to theorise with.
I mean yeah they can fit in perfectly without having to change the cannon

clearly pomni is by far not the first, but e.g. kinger has been around for a dang good while, and jax has likely also seen plenty people go (possibly "helping" a few of them with that, even, we know he's a psychopath who doesn't give a damn and just casually makes people freak out and feel bad, pretty much on the regular, abusing mask-guy, pranking ragatha with her only fear, etc), while it's not the first group, I don't think we really see more than like, about ten or so crossed out people? and considering the main cast's only got like 5 or so people, it could very well be only like, the second or third group, by unique member count...and given how large kaufmo's abstraction was, the basement full of eyes doesn't mean there's THAT many abstracted people there, either, about 10-15 abstractions would probably fill it just as much as we see it being filled...
and while the show's been definitely going on for a very long time, well...digital people don't age, and time likely isn't the same as in the real world, it's quite possible that decades, if not centuries have passed in the digital realm, while only a couple years have in real world
around 10-15 people is quite a bit, sure, but it's not what I would call "very, very far", really, especially as they do not abstract at the same time, some can hold on for a dang long time, so if you count the distance, not the unique people, it would be far less distance from the "first inhabitants"
Using the quarter pauses as the pupils is very smart to show the disquietude. The chorus is a bop by the way.

What I love with your songs, and that just struck me, is that even though you set them up in something we know, the characters and stories are exclusive. So they can’t age badly. And the characters here are very well designed, same as the song ! Love it !

This is cool! I like how this follows BSlick's and Tohru's OCs, as the Digital Circus is basically a digital world where anyone can (presumably) get trapped inside of, and get new bodies. Also fits with how the Digital Circus has this whole cycle of people getting thrown in, becoming abstracted, and then replaced with newer characters, over and over again.
I also love how well this replicates TADC's original style, even with the 2D versions of the characters walking in the credits just like in the credits of TADC's episodes. Overall, very awesome! amazing work, BSlick, Tohru, and Musiclide!

I never thought a song could capture an entire show so well. The calm walking down the hall switching to the desperate searching for the way out is just such a great dichotomy, and the character designs look like they were pulled straight out of the show. Amazing work!

at what time is it?
As someone who spent a lot of time in jail tied up in the court system with no sign of progress being made, a lot of the lyrics really hit deep. That feeling of being stuck with people who've spent their whole lives in and out of this caged world who find the nightmare of it all to be fun, it still gives off that faint feeling of hope of an escape to know that its not permanent yet time and time again you get told to come back 4-8 weeks just to be told the same thing.
Im sure most people in this fandom won't relate, and may even judge, but just know that there are plenty of innocent people put in jail all the time who get stuck due to horrible circumstances with the way the court system can be sometimes. I was with someone once who has been in jail for over 4 years at the time, not prison but jail. Where you don't have a set date for release, cant afford or simply do not have bond, and your charges don't have to be serious either for you to be stuck in such a situation.
Maybe my experience with being incarcerated on false charges and stuck for little over a year before finally making it to my preliminary hearing to show the complete lack of evidence and be set free is what made me so attracted to this series. Maybe I sound like a complete idiot. Who knows, but this song just made me really want to get this off my chest I suppose.

I especially loved the little touch to how the two singers saw the doors, with the taller one almost seeming to not fit, their view was so high up.
While the smaller one was viewing the doors from closer to the floor!

Edit: I also just wanted to comment on how the line "No way running from a life we'll never leave" is absolutely perfect. Since it can also be heard as "No way running from a life we'll never LIVE" showing that since they don't know how this life of their truly began, they can never truly end it. Even if they abstract.
These character designs have a lot more thought put into them than you think; the main character designs of The Amazing Digital Circus follow the themes of 'Circus' and 'Toy', and these designs fit perfectly with a teddy bear and a character wearing a traditional 'jester' outfit from the medieval times, and sometimes used in circuses. Good work on this!

The writing and animation both are so well-detailed, as always. These characters fit right in with the others, though they seem to lean heavily into Pomni's design rather than branching out too much but still very much have their own identities, and the few altered environments shown work perfectly as well - the bedroom hallway, the basement, and the maddeningly always-slightly-different exit were all excellently done. The basement section in particular had great imagery.
I mean they definitely lean more on jester and clown designs but it’s not to strange it is a circus after all they still stand out

4th rewatch already. Amazing song, massive respect to everyone working on it, the animation and visuals in generla are amazing, I love the designs of the 2 characters (not to mention that if Jax was a tumblr sexy man then the character Tohru voices will have its own thirsty fans I guarantee that)
from the les deranged topic, seriously amazing work, the song is simple and insanely catchy, the vocals of both bslick and tohru are amazing, bslick sounds like he is just apathetic at this point while tohru sounds like she is barely holding up.
The increasing speed of going through the doors is also great as it pictures the desperation perfectly and if you ask me it enhances the song as I don't think the vocals could've conveyed that alone even as good as they are.
Lastly that nanana at the end, chef's kiss. Yet another Musiclide banger to add to my playlist.

Some assets glitch used were from the unreal market place, but most of this was recreated from scratch

I really love a good fan Song that focuses on a catchy refrain. Don't get me wrong, I do like Stupendium and JT, but they keep getting distracted on longer and longer narratives that they forget to be catchy and memorable.

It’s an acoustic guitar for the most part. There IS a piano but it’s only in the chorus

@@manifestedfire6411 I had a look, it's called "Toy Piano" in the Kontakt Library I used for the song. However to me it sounds kinda similar to a Kalimba but with a really short release time.
